If we're separating the heartphial stories into their own pages why not the Magireco side stories? But whatever, should these have their own navbox?, or maybe just make it a third part of Template:Navbox Magidra? - TheresaFrog421 (talk) 00:29, 4 September 2026 (UTC)

  1. I'm not completely sold on the separation, but I didn't want full story summaries to clutter up character pages (even in a spoilerbox).
  2. No reason we can't do the same for the Magia Record side stories.
  3. Not sure if there should be a navbox for them. They should definitely all be linked from the corresponding character and unit pages.

Making the character pages link to the Heartphial stories should be easy enough, just put code in Template:Magia Exedra Game Info that searches for a page starting with "Magia Exedra Heartphial Story" and the already given character parameter. But I'm not sure about the titles? I've used hyphens to separate sections of titles but for these you used en dashes, and also I think the character name should be separated too (so for this page either Magia Exedra Heartphial Story - Tsuruno Yui - My Job's to Keep Smiling or Magia Exedra Heartphial Story - Tsuruno Yui: My Job's to Keep Smiling), tbf the en dashes arent that much of an issue really, but the titles using different separators bugs me. - TheresaFrog421 (talk) 19:53, 4 September 2026 (UTC)
The only reason I used an en dash was because using a hyphen gave me a database error for some reason, so if you can, feel free to move them to hyphens. I think I prefer not separating the character name, but I don't mind separating it either. ~ Celtic Minstrel (talk) 22:19, 4 September 2026 (UTC)
I would prefer for it to have a navbox, but the titles merge in too much with eachother, and I can't think of a good way to separate them. Maybe by year of when the story came out? (like we do with events) or maybe separate them alphabetically? Idk - TheresaFrog421 (talk) 13:03, 6 September 2026 (UTC)
I'd probably go alphabetically by surname. ~ Celtic Minstrel (talk) 14:26, 6 September 2026 (UTC)
Eh I don't think that would look right, if alphabetically then definitely by first name. But whatever I decided to cut the story title from whats shown, and it looks way cleaner now, so theyre just ordered by their ID placements in the game (If you want to, reorder them). - TheresaFrog421 (talk) 15:14, 6 September 2026 (UTC)
ID is the worst choice, because there's absolutely no rhyme or reason to it – it's no better than dumping them into a box, shaking them up, and listing them in the order you happen to pull them out. Alphabetically by surname is better, because you can look at it and quickly figure out where a specific character is in the list. That would be true of alphabetically by given name too. ~ Celtic Minstrel (talk) 01:14, 7 September 2026 (UTC)
The heartphial order does look better now I can't lie, but apart from that I disagree with every other edit you just made T_T. Putting every story in a new line creates very ugly spacing. The Main Quests HAVE a specific order to them, ordering them alphabetically is not right. And the redirects, I guess they're not the worst?, but I don't like them either, usually the navboxes show the link as white when youre on its page, but with the links all being redirects thats not the case, and it doesnt look as good. It does make the template WAY smaller, so Im kinda conflicted, but I think Im more against it because the link directly shows up on the page it links to. - TheresaFrog421 (talk) 06:58, 7 September 2026 (UTC)
