- Appareantly yeah, she's the one that created that rumor-spreading creature. According to Ch 7.17, Nemu creates the rumors, but it shaves away part of her life and possibly destabilizes her soul gem? strongly taints it?Sondenise (talk) 00:15, 3 June 2018 (UTC)

Why the spelling "Fendt" in "Fendt Hope"?
Is there a reason why we spell the Magius' HQ "Fendt Hope"? According to Nemu's story, when she suggests it, Tsukiyo asks whether it does mean "微かな希望", which translates as "Faint Hope".

- The North America server localized it as "Fendt Hope", so I assume that's the reason. I have no idea why they made that choice though. As far as I can tell, "Fendt" is a German surname means "little boy" or "farmer", and also a company that manufactures tractors, but neither of those seem like a reason to choose it. ~ Celtic Minstrel (talk) 20:27, 12 February 2022 (UTC)
- Yeah, to quote Nemu's MGS:
- 「フェントホープ」
Fendt Hope
- 「フェントホープ」
- ねむ: ただの閃きでしかないけど、 希望を皆が使用していると思って
Nemu: It was just a shot of inspiration, but everyone was using the word "hope", so...
- ねむ: ただの閃きでしかないけど、 希望を皆が使用していると思って
- 月夜: それで「微かな希望」で ございますか?
Tsukuyo: Did you say "Faint Hope"? Like a delicate glimmer of hope?
- 月夜: それで「微かな希望」で ございますか?
- みふゆ: 少し言葉を変えれば 「見せかけの希望」にもなるよ
Mifuyu: If it's "feint", it kind of sounds like a false hope.
- みふゆ: 少し言葉を変えれば 「見せかけの希望」にもなるよ
- 灯花: くふっ
Touka: *Giggle*
- 灯花: くふっ
- 灯花: それに言語を換えれば、 「希望を作る」みたいにもなるね
Touka: There is a language with a cognate that would make it mean to "create hope".
- 灯花: それに言語を換えれば、 「希望を作る」みたいにもなるね
- Touka may be referring to Catalan's "fer" verb (to make/do), which has a cognate of "fent." My guess is that the translator added the "d" to "Fent" to make the pronunciation clearer while still accommodating all these different interpretations.--Bigscarythings (talk) 00:50, 13 February 2022 (UTC)
- That doesn't quite seem to fit, as "fent" is the present participle, so it should translate to "creating hope"… although I guess it's an easy mistake for someone to make, so it could still be the language Touka was thinking of. ~ Celtic Minstrel (talk) 03:24, 13 February 2022 (UTC)
