Timelines/Magia Record Anime

From Puella Magi Wiki
Jump to navigation Jump to search

The universe of the Magia Record Anime is a near-duplicate of the universe experienced in the game, with critical deviations in its history, particularly the imperfect implementation of the Doppel System leading to many cases of Doppel Syndrome.

An anomalous universe with a faulty Doppel System. This universe's timeline is very similar to the one in the game, but as the anime's story is different from that of the game, as well as its uncertain origin, it is considered another universe instead of a separate timeline.[1] Any point not mentioned in this universe can be assumed to be similar to what happened in the game's universe.

  • Nemu, Touka and Ui end up in the same hospital room and become friends, with Iroha often visiting them. They create rumors they intend to spread to ensure they’ll be remembered, and Iroha adds the "Eternal Sakura" rumor.
  • When Ui falls critically ill, Iroha wishes for her sister’s recovery on the hospital's rooftop. Ui initially enjoys her newfound health but notices Iroha visiting less and appearing sicker.
  • The three girls follow Iroha and discover she’s a Magical Girl fighting a Witch. Kyubey suggests they can save her by making wishes, but Touka and Nemu investigate, question Kyubey throughout the course of a day and surmise that Magical Girls eventually become Witches.
    • Alina, who has become a Magical Girl by this point, overhears them when they reveal this to Ui.
  • Touka devises a plan to prevent Iroha’s fate, and the girls make wishes to gain Kyubey’s powers to create an Automatic Purification System.
  • The next day, the girls make their wishes to Kyubey, while Alina confronts another Kyubey about Magical Girls becoming Witches. Once he confirms this, Alina kills him and chases another of his copies.
    • After the girls make their wishes and start the purification process, Ui starts collecting impurities, including from Hanna Sarasa. Ui's absorption of impurities overwhelms her and she contracts Doppel Syndrome and nearly becomes a Witch despite Touka and Nemu's attempts to stop it. Alina sends her cubes to isolate Ui, after which Touka transforms her soul into another form. Before it falls apart, Nemu places it inside the Lil' Kyubey, which makes everyone but her to forget about Ui, as well as erasing all traces of her existence. Touka forgets Ui and vows to save all Magical Girls, while Alina joins her plan. They collect the being that is now Embryo Eve and start recruiting for the Magius. Nemu is regretful of the situation having come to this but resolves to save Iroha and Magical Girls.
    • Unlike the game, Nemu placing Ui's soul inside Lil' Kyubey herself, instead of using a Rumor, excluded her from forgetting about Ui.
  • The girls form the Wings of the Magius, and after Mifuyu is saved by it, she becomes an important member.
  • At some point, Kuroe makes her wish, but ends up regretting it after life as a Magical Girl is too difficult. She meets another girl during a Witch battle and saves her, letting the Witch escape. She asks Kuroe if she had a Grief Seed, to which Kuroe lies, saying no. After the two wave each other goodbye, Kuroe starts running away in guilt.

Present Day

  • Iroha's parents leave for a business trip and trust the house to Iroha until she can move into a boarding house.
  • Iroha Tamaki encounters a little girl on the train, who lost her cat and discovers a Box Wood's Barrier. She transforms and fights the Witch alongside Kuroe and they rescue the cat, escaping without defeating the Witch.
  • At school, Kyubey reveals to her that he doesn’t know the specifics of her wish, and theorizes it might have been concealed as part of the wish itself. After school, Kuroe tells Iroha about a Rumor that Magical Girls can be saved by going to Kamihama City, where they no longer need to fight Witches. Iroha misses her station and when she asks Kuroe where she's going, she reveals she's heading to Kamihama. The train is overrun by witch-kissed passengers of Box Wood and her Labyrinth takes Iroha and Kuroe to Kamihama. When the Witch tries to attack again, Zenobia appears and kills Box Wood. A small Kyubey appears, singing a song about Rumors, and when Iroha catches it, it triggers important memories for her. Yachiyo appears to save them and kills Zenobia herself. She warns Iroha and Kuroe to stay out of Kamihama, as Witches are stronger there and that there's no Kyubey in Kamihama. She gives them the Grief Seeds of Zenobia and Box Wood and tells them to leave again. After the train home, Iroha has a dream of her original wish, to heal her sister, Ui's, disease.
  • Iroha remembers visiting Ui at Satomi Medical Center in Kamihama. On the bus to the hospital, passengers are marked by a Witch’s kiss. Iroha tries to fight the Witch, Rebecca, alongside Kaede, but she's knocked out after being rescued by Momoko and Rena. They take her to the Coordinator's where Iroha explains her situation and Momoko offers to help her. At Satomi Medical Center, Iroha finds no records of Ui and goes to eat with Momoko, Kaede and Rena. They suggest Rena uses her transformation powers to find out more information inside the hospital. Rena refuses and her and Kaede have a fight, where they break up their friendship and storm off. Later, Kaede sees her and Rena's names written on the staircase and searches for Rena with Momoko and Iroha. They find her disguised as Ren, but she runs away, and when they catch her and Kaede apologizes, chains appear around them and Kaede disappears.
  • Iroha dreams of a memory where Touka makes a perpetual motion machine which causes a fire and destroys Nemu's books. Iroha wakes up and meets with Momoko and Rena to visit Mitama. They call Yachiyo, who agrees to help them find Kaede and Mitama coordinates Iroha's Soul Gem. The group sneaks into the school to lure out the Witch that kidnapped Kaede. When Momoko and Yachiyo's fake apology fails, Rena apologizes to Kaede, which results in them being taken to the Rumor's Barrier. Rena and Kaede make up and defeat the Rumor together. After the battle, Yachiyo notes that that wasn't a normal Witch. Rena transforms into a nurse and finds out that Touka and Nemu were real patients, but there's no record of Ui.
    • That night, Kyubey has Mami investigate Kamihama, as every time he enters Kamihama's territory, his body shuts down.
  • Iroha joins Momoko, Rena, and Kaede to discuss recent strange Rumors, including the Friendship Ending Staircase and others like the 4:44:44 TV Rumor. Mitama directs Iroha to visit Banbanzai, where she meets Tsuruno for lunch. After eating, Tsuruno calls her friend Yachiyo Nanami for assistance. Yachiyo initially refuses to help but agrees to discuss the Rumors, including the Seance Shrine. The trio visits shrines in Mizuna Ward, collecting stamps and learning about a local legend involving a woman who revived her lover at the cost of the town’s population. While shopping, the girls encounter a Candy’s Labyrinth and defeat it. The girls return to the Seance Shrine at night, where Iroha writes her sister’s name on a plaque, taking them to the Rumor's Labyrinth, with Tsuruno waiting behind, and encounter Mifuyu Azusa and Ui.
    • Yachiyo and Iroha encounter illusions of Mifuyu and Ui in the shrine's Barrier. Ui repeats cryptic phrases about Kamihama City, leading Iroha to realize it’s not her real sister. She sees people trapped in the Barrier, and her Soul Gem darkens further. Yachiyo questions if the Mifuyu she meets is real. Mifuyu recalls shared memories, but Yachiyo remains skeptical. Mifuyu refuses to leave the Barrier, claiming she’s too accustomed to it, and offers Yachiyo a pinwheel. Iroha warns Yachiyo about the illusion, but Mifuyu transforms and attacks Iroha. Yachiyo impales Mifuyu with her spear to save Iroha, causing her to dissipate, but Yachiyo insists it wasn’t the real Mifuyu. Yachiyo struggles to cleanse her darkened Soul Gem, but Iroha uses her own Grief Seed to help. Tsuruno joins them, and a monstrous creature attacks the girls, regenerating despite their efforts. Iroha’s Soul Gem darkens further, and she falls into despair, unknowingly releasing her Doppel, which goes in a rampage and defeats the Rumor. Yachiyo and Tsuruno are saved by Mami Tomoe, who'd been tracking an odd magic signature, and mistakes Iroha for a Witch. Yachiyo defends Iroha, and Mami leaves after a tense exchange. Iroha awakens in Yachiyo’s home, where Yachiyo offers her food.
    • Momoko, Rena and Kaede face the Witch Albertine, but Kaede has to fight alone after the others are knocked unconscious. She unknowingly releases her Doppel for the first time, defeating Albertine, but runs away after being terrified by her own actions and questioning if she’s a Witch.
  • Iroha wakes up at Yachiyo's house and decides to explore Kamihama. She stumbles upon a strange booth in an abandoned mall where a clown and waitresses offer "Lucky Owl Water." Felicia appears, drinks the water, and encourages Iroha to do the same. Iroha accidentally enters Felicia's territory in Kosho ward, where Felicia demands payment. Before tensions escalate, the Symbol Witch's Familiars appear, and Felicia destroys them. Iroha offers ice cream as thanks, and the two bond over their sudden good luck. Yachiyo visits Mitama to discuss a new Rumor and finds a wanted poster of Felicia. Yachiyo then confronts Kyoko on the rooftop, who questions the abundance of Witches in Kamihama and hints at a possible conspiracy. They agree that Kyoko can hunt in Kamihama but to not antagonize other Magical Girls. Felicia reveals to Iroha that, to her knowledge, her parents were killed by a Witch and agrees to work exclusively for Iroha. Yachiyo warns Iroha about the dangerous Rumor tied to the Lucky Owl Water, which causes good luck followed by misfortune and has led to missing Magical Girls. Iroha hires Felicia to investigate, offering homemade meals as payment. The group returns to the abandoned mall, where they encounter the Rumor creatures but they run off. As they trail the Rumor Spreader, they're confronted by Black Feathers, who offer them the Lucky Owl Water in exchange for leaving the Rumors alone. They reveal their goal to save Magical Girls and eradicate Witches, enticing Felicia with the promise of revenge. Felicia, eager for vengeance, agrees to join them.
    • Felicia is led underground by Black Feathers to meet the Amane twins, Tsukuyo and Tsukasa, who explain the Wings of Magius' goal to save Magical Girls and eradicate Witches. Felicia agrees to join, while Kyoko, another recruit, expresses skepticism about the group's motives. Yachiyo, Iroha, and Tsuruno track Felicia using a GPS transmitter Yachiyo placed on her earlier. The Amane twins introduce Felicia and Kyoko to the Misery Rhyton, a Rumor that produces Lucky Owl Water. Yachiyo, Iroha, and Tsuruno confront the Amane twins and battle ensues as the twins summon patched-together Familiars, forcing Yachiyo and Tsuruno deeper into the Barrier. Felicia, fueled by anger, destroys Familiars with Iroha's help, while Kyoko helps Iroha escape to confront the Rumor's core. Iroha battles the Owl Familiars and unleashes her Doppel, destroying the Misery Rhyton and breaking the Rumor's influence. The Amane twins are shocked as Mifuyu arrives and demands an explanation. Mifuyu, now a member of the Wings of the Magius, reunites with Yachiyo and Tsuruno but refuses to leave the group. Yachiyo vows to stop her, but Mifuyu escapes using her magic.
  • Outside, it is now morning and Felicia breaks down, expressing her anger and grief over losing everything to Witches. Iroha, Yachiyo, and Tsuruno comfort her, inviting her to stay with them and learn to control her emotions. The group helps Iroha move to Mikazuki Villa, where Felicia also finds a temporary home. Meanwhile, Iroha receives mysterious texts asking for her help.
  • Iroha sleeps while listening to FM Kamihama, but her phone glitches, distorting the broadcast until only a girl's laughter remains. Iroha starts her day at her new school, noticing Kaede's absence and receiving a mysterious message asking for help. She meets Rena on the roof, who shares concerns about Kaede, as she's been avoiding her teammates and mentions the "Invisible Girl" Rumor. After school, Iroha visits Banbanzai, where Tsuruno tells her about the "Electric Wave Girl" Rumor involving a radio tower and a girl's voice crying for help. Iroha returns home to find Yachiyo discussing the Wings of the Magius on the phone with Kanagi. During dinner, Iroha shares the Rumors she heard, but another mysterious message interrupts, asking to be erased. Iroha dreams of Ui, Touka, and Nemu discussing the improbability of their meeting, and her phone glitches again, replaying the girl's laughter.
  • The next day, Iroha learns Felicia is in police custody for fighting. After resolving the situation, they visit the radio tower and hear a girl's laughter instead of the expected cries for help. Rumors spread about Iroha being a delinquent. During lunch, Rena shows her deleted posts about "Endless Solitude," and Iroha connects the mysterious messages to the Electric Wave Girl Rumor. Iroha investigates the radio tower, encounters Tsukuyo, and enters a Witch's Barrier. Tsukuyo summons the Witch to attack Iroha, but Yachiyo and others arrive to help, forcing Tsukuyo to retreat. Later, Yachiyo and Iroha analyze the messages, concluding they are linked to "Endless Solitude." Iroha responds to the sender, "Ai," who reveals she is an Uwasa and asks Iroha to jump off the Radio Tower to enter the Endless Solitude and free Sana, who is trapped there. Ai no longer wants to follow her programming and asks Iroha to delete her to free Sana.
    • At the Radio Tower, Iroha volunteers to jump despite Yachiyo's warnings. Iroha and Small Kyubey leap, disappearing into light as they enter the Endless Solitude. Sana's memories reveal her time in the Endless Solitude, bonding with Ai, who names herself after Sana's suggestion. Sana, having heard of the Endless Solitude, jumped off the Radio Tower to escape her loneliness. Iroha arrives in the Endless Solitude, and Ai insists Sana must leave. Alina Gray interrupts them and then attacks Sana and Ai. Ai teleports Alina away to protect Sana but begins to glitch after being afflicted with Alina's paint. She urges Sana to destroy her to escape and transforms into Sana's likeness. She gives her a dagger, and Sana tearfully complies, and Ai disappears, thanking Sana for giving her a name. Outside, Yachiyo, Tsuruno, and Felicia deduce that the exit to the Endless Solitude is likely the Kamihama Central Tower.
    • Sana says goodbye to Ai as the Barrier shatters, causing her and Iroha to fall from the radio tower twards Kamihama Central Tower. Sana faints and transforms back into a normal girl, while Iroha grabs her hand as they plummet. Alina watches from afar as the Barrier fragments and the girls fall. At Kamihama Central Tower, the Amane sisters fret over an intruder alert on a machine. Yachiyo, Tsuruno, and Felicia arrive and activate the machine, which magnetically pulls Iroha, Sana, and barrier fragments toward the rooftop. Alina recaptures Witch Teresa copies, but the machine malfunctions when a vending machine destroys its antenna, stopping the magnetic pull. Alina unleashes copies of Teresa and unleashes them, accusing the intruders of destroying her "rearing cage." Felicia and Tsuruno fight the Witches, with Tsuruno empowering Felicia’s flaming hammer. Alina prepares to unleash her Doppel, but Mami Tomoe intervenes, ordering the Amane twins to contain the Witches. Alina leaves and Mami explains the Wings of Magius’ goal of salvation.
  • The next day, Sana moves into Mikazuki Villa, where Iroha and Yachiyo prepare her room. Sana reminisces about her friend Ai while unpacking a chess set. During lunch, Sana feels out of place and retreats to her room. The girls later go shopping for mugs, bonding over their choices, but Sana leaves silently to visit her family’s home. Sana visits her family, who have continued to treat her as a shut-in and likely not npticed her disappearance, leaving her dinner outside her door. She overhears them celebrating her brothers’ achievements and decides to gather her belongings. On her way back, she hears families calling out to each other, which reminds her of Iroha’s kindness. She returns to Mikazuki Villa, where she offers to help with cooking, slowly integrating into the group.
    • At the Wings of Magius headquarters, Mifuyu and Mami discuss the loss of the Rumor at the radio tower. Mifuyu reflects on Yachiyo’s likely anger but remains determined to achieve salvation. The Amane sisters visit, cooking dinner for Mifuyu, who realizes the younger girls are now caring for her. She resolves to continue her mission for their sake.
    • Back at Mikazuki Villa, Iroha explains her search for her missing sister Ui, suspecting a Rumor’s involvement. Iroha asks Sana if she knows Ui, Touka, or Nemu, and Sana reveals that she does know Nemu as one of the Magius.
  • After school, Iroha waits for Tsukuyo, leading to a tense confrontation where Tsukuyo eventually agrees to help Iroha find Nemu after consulting Mifuyu. The girls buy coasters as a gift for Yachiyo and return home to surprise her. Mifuyu visits Mikazuki Villa, offering Iroha a place in the Wings of the Magius. Iroha refuses, but Mifuyu invites her to a Magius lecture. Yachiyo arrives, visibly distressed, and Mifuyu leaves after hinting at their past. Iroha decides to attend the Magius lecture despite her reservations.
  • The girls arrive at the Memory Museum, encountering the small Kyubey and climbing a wall of drawers. They eventually find Touka Satomi, who introduces herself as one of the Magius.
    • Meanwhile, Yachiyo, alone at Mikazuki Villa, hears Kanae and Mel's voices urging her to join her friends. Despite denying their friendship, she decides to follow the group, unable to ignore the deception targeting Magical Girls.
    • At the Memory Museum, Touka introduces herself as a Magius, dismissing Iroha's claims about their past friendship with Ui. Through the museum, Iroha experiences a memory of Yachiyo's group fighting Oshiti, where Kanae sacrifices herself by blocking a lethal attack, shattering her Soul Gem. Mifuyu explains that once a Soul Gem breaks, the Magical Girl cannot be saved. In another memory, Mel's Soul Gem darkens and she transforms into a Witch. Iroha learns that when a Soul Gem becomes fully corrupted, the Magical Girl turns into a Witch.
    • At the same time, Momoko and Kaede meet with Rena over a bridge, and reveal the truth to her too. Rena is devastated upon learning the truth about Magical Girls, but Kaede comforts her, promising salvation through the Wings of the Magius.
    • A third memory reveals Mifuyu's Soul Gem briefly darkening, but miraculously reverts to normal after she releases her Doppel. Touka introduces the concept of Doppels, a system she created to prevent turning into a Witch, claiming it liberates Magical Girls from Kyubey's cruel fate.
    • Mifuyu watches over Iroha as she sleeps, while inside Iroha’s dream, Touka explains the Wings of Magius’ purpose to fight Kyubey’s system. Yachiyo arrives, demanding Mifuyu step away, but Mifuyu insists they’re revealing the truth about Magical Girls and disappears using her magic. Yachiyo wakes Iroha with a Grief Seed and urges her to leave. As Iroha and Yachiyo escape on the gondola, Iroha worries about Tsuruno and the others, suspecting Mifuyu took them. Yachiyo announces her decision to disband the team, citing her selfish wish to survive, which she believes causes others to die. The Rumor of the Memory Curator attacks, swallowing Yachiyo, but Iroha vows to save her. Inside the Memory Curator, Yachiyo relives her past as a model and her wish to survive, which she believes led to her teammates’ deaths. She struggles with guilt as her Doppel lectures her, while Iroha fights the Curator from outside, eventually freeing Yachiyo. Iroha and Yachiyo reunite, with Iroha vowing to prove Yachiyo’s wish doesn’t doom others. As the museum collapses, they encounter Mami, now allied with the Wings of Magius, who attacks them. Sayaka appears and intervenes, but Mami transforms into Holy Mami, unleashing a devastating assault. Yachiyo and Iroha summon their Doppels to fight Holy Mami, but her power overwhelms them. Iroha’s Doppel dissipates, and she is nearly defeated, but Yachiyo saves her.
    • Meanwhile, Touka delivers a speech at the Wings of Magius headquarters, promising liberation for Magical Girls through the Doppel System. Sana, Felicia, Kuroe, Momoko, Rena and Kaede are in the audience, but when Rena tries to leave, Black Feathers and Kaede stop her.
    • The museum collapses during the battle, and Iroha falls into a chasm despite Yachiyo’s efforts to save her. Yachiyo is rescued by Sayaka but is devastated by Iroha’s apparent sacrifice. Kuroe and Iroha prepare to sleep, but Iroha becomes defensive when Kuroe questions why Ui isn’t real in the dream. Another Iroha appears to Yachiyo, and Yachiyo destroys the teddy bear representing Ui, triggering Iroha’s Doppel transformation. Yachiyo stays behind to fight, allowing Iroha and Kuroe to enter, but Kuroe's Magius Pendant turns black, marking her as a traitor.
    • The exit closes, and Kuroe and Iroha realize they've ended up beneath the hotel. After a train ride further inside, they meet Rena, who reveals she was a Black Feather and is trying to rescue Kaede. After learning the path is blocked, they search for another exit. Iroha suggests visiting Mitama, but Rena refuses and Kuroe notices something unusual about Kaede.
    • Madoka, Sayaka, and Homura investigate Kamihama, but the Magical Girls there are suspiciously avoidant of the three of them. They investigate posters recruiting Magical Girls for the Wings of Magius and Homura deduces the Feathers have been instructed not to approach them.
    • Iroha and her group pass a farm where Witches are bred, sparking a discussion about the fear of becoming a Witch. When a Rumor Familiar attacks, Kuroe nearly summons her Doppel but is stopped by Iroha, who cleanses her Soul Gem and helps defeat the Uwasa. Kaede’s Doppel goes out of control despite her Soul Gem being clean earlier. After restraining it, Momoko and Mitama arrive and seal it, explaining the dangers of overusing Doppels. After Momoko comforts her, Mitama explains the process of rescuing Tsuruno by a person who knows her well connecting with with her.

However, their initial attempt fails, and Tsuruno, injured, rises again, still under control. Yachiyo realizes her failure to connect with her, as she didn't really know Tsuruno. Madoka fears attempting to connect with Mami might harm her, while Uwasa soldier bears block their retreat. Iroha urges Yachiyo to try connecting with Tsuruno again, but Yachiyo refuses, admitting she never truly understood Tsuruno. Tsuruno attacks Yachiyo, and Iroha steps in to protect her.
    • From the failed Connect, Iroha finds herself in a theater inside Tsuruno's mind, where Yachiyo and Tsuruno express their conflicting perspectives—Yachiyo's failure to understand Tsuruno and Tsuruno's belief in needing to be strong. Tsuruno recalls a time when she was overwhelmed at Banbanzai and blamed herself for Mel's death after missing a Witch fight. She later discovers she killed Mel's Witch, Etteilla, leading her to accept Touka and Nemu's alterations to prevent more Magical Girls from becoming Witches.
    • Yachiyo resolves to reconnect properly, realizing they don’t need to be strong alone but should support each other. Homura struggles against Rumor bears until Momoko and Mifuyu arrive to help. Nemu stops Touka's attack and calls Iroha her sister. She stops the two of them from moving before giving them the memories of what happened to Ui and Embryo Eve.
    • Meanwhile, the Magical Girls outside the Chapel fight the Uwasa of the Queen Bear. Tsukuyo and Tsukasa arrive with reinforcements, but Mifuyu stops them and apologizes, as their plan has now failed and what they were doing isn't right.
    • Once they recall everything, Touka apologizes to Iroha and confronts Nemu for lying to her. Nemu explains that if Touka had remembered the truth, she might have stopped her plan and not saved Magical Girls from their fate, which Touka realizes is true. The two once more agree to continue with their plan, even if that isn't what Ui would have wanted. Nemu traps Iroha inside Lil' Kyubey and the two proceed to awaken Embryo Eve. Her premature awakening causes the Magical Girls near the Hotel to be overwhelmed and contract Doppel Syndrome, with the exception of experienced Magical Girls who were able to resist, including Yachiyo, Mifuyu and Momoko.
      • Inside the Doppel Syndrome Ward, Mitama stabilizes her own Soul Gem, as well as Rena's. The girls in the Ward experience a lot of pain due to Eve's awakening, and Rena connects with Kaede in an attempt to save her, forming a shared mind space with her, the rest of patients, as well as Mitama.
    • The Chapel falls down and Touka and Nemu lead Eve towards Walpurgisnacht and through Kamihama to reach her. After Mifuyu uses her magic to trap stop the girls around her from moving, Yachiyo goes to chase after Eve. Mifuyu uses her magic to break through her limits, and with Momoko's assistance, the two enter the shared mind space where Mitama is attempting to heal the patients. They comfort the girls, with Momoko and Mifuyu using their powers, as well as their knowledge of the girls and their personal lives to take them out of Doppel Syndrome. This Connect is too much for the two of them and their Soul Gems start breaking. Mitama offers to help, but the two insist that she will be needed to take care of the girls and lead them when they wake up. Rena as well finds Kaede, and with Momoko's help, comforts her. The girls who had contracted Doppel Syndrome are healed from it, everyone except Mitama being unconscious, and Momoko and Mifuyu being dead.
      • Meanwhile, a dissolving Lil' Kyubey trails Kuroe, who is on the verge of Doppel Syndrome herself, as she's walking the train tracks to Takarazaki.
    • Kyubey observes Kamihama from outside and has by this point understood the most of what has taken place there. Meanwhile, Alina observes Kamihama as it's being destroyed and makes her final painting, taking glee in its destruction. She talks with Kyubey, with the two of them discussing their different philosophies. Kyubey argues that their sacrifices are necessary for the survival of the universe, and that they're not wrong in what they're doing, but Alina says that the survival of the universe has been possible through the sacrifices of Magical Girls, so they deserve justice. Alina finishes her painting and packages it, sending it to Karin with a message wishing her good luck.
    • Yachiyo reaches Touka and Nemu and tries to stop them. She's unsuccessful and the two reveal that once Eve absorbs Walpurgisnacht, the fusion will cause a shockwave which will wipe Kamihama from the map. Kanagi arrives to the scene and saves Yachiyo, with other Magical Girls from Kamihama also watching them, but Touka and Nemu take Embryo Eve towards Walpurgisnacht and blast them off.
      • Meanwhile, the girls on Fendthope's remains split into groups, with Mitama, Tsuruno, Felicia, Sana, Rena and Kaede leading some of them towards Eve, while Tsukuyo, Tsukasa and others stay back to take care of the ones in need.
    • Inside Lil' Kyubey, Ui comforts Iroha and tells her that she's needed outside. Iroha asks her if stopping Embryo Eve will bring Ui back to normal, to which Ui denies, as she's already changed too much from what she was. She sets Iroha free on the train tracks and leads her towards Kuroe. When Kuroe sees Iroha, she succumbs to Doppel Syndrome and her Doppel forms a growing pillar of mud, with Iroha climbing after her. Kuroe tells her of how she failed the girl from Takarazaki, and when Iroha reaches her, she uses Connect but is only able to break half of her Doppel mask. She tries to comfort and encourage Kuroe, but her attempts only push Kuroe further into self-loathing. Her Doppel reaches the ceiling of the Doppel Barrier and breaks through, Kuroe finally becoming a Witch that Iroha is forced to kill.
    • Afterwards, Iroha is in shock above the Barrier and Kyubey appears behind her, revealing that Kuroe became a Witch because of Iroha's idealism. As the pillar breaks, Iroha is confronted by her Doppel self, who blames everything on her. Yachiyo, Tsuruno, Sana, and Felicia ell ut to her, climbing a staircase of Yachiyo's halberds to rescue Iroha. They connect with her and break free, comforting each other as they fall. All five use Connect together to form a giant rocket with their weapons. The Mikazuki team, except Iroha, direct the rocket toward Eve, which briefly detains her. Eve is then intercepted against a building by Rena and Kaede's Connect, and the Magical Girls lead by Mitama, as well as the girls lead by Kanagi reach and attack Eve together. Iroha grabs Touka and Nemu and urges them to stop. They claim that their actions are for Iroha's sake, but Iroha pleads with them to spend their time with her instead. After they all agree, Alina attacks the Magical Girls who attacked Eve and declares her plan to turn all humanity into Magical Girls by infecting them with her Doppel. Despite Touka and Nemu's protests, Alina infects Embryo Eve with her Doppel, and lets her Doppel overtake her as well, fusing the three of them into Neo Dorothy. As she takes flight towards Walpurgisnacht once more, Touka and Nemu activate their Doppels, trapping Iroha so she can't chase them and heading towards Alina to stop her. As they get closer to her, Ui, inside the disintegrating Lil' Kyubey, joins them as well and the two detonate their Soul Gems to kill Alina.
      • Yachiyo wakes up in her old school uniform inside a train, where she communicates with the magic of Kanae and Mel, which lives on inside of her. She blames herself for their sacrifices, but when Mifuyu and Momoko appear, Kanae tells Yachiyo that Yachiyo's power is to inherit the hopes of the deceased. Yachiyo invites Mifuyu to come live with the others in Mikazuki Villa again after everything's over, and she happily agrees, deciding she will stay in the living room. Momoko also says she'll take the living room, followed by Kanae and Mel, who despite not speaking, smiles in her approval. Afterwards, the four girls tell Yachiyo that they have to get going, after which she realizes that Mifuyu and Momoko had died too, but she's unable to reach them.
      • Iroha meets Ui, who tells her that since Ui's body is composed by magic, her existence would be scattered like particles. Ui tells her that she will be with her when Iroha feels happiness and to look for her then.
    • The two wake up, with Yachiyo waking up in front of Neo Dorothy's body, and Iroha waking up on the brink of Doppel Syndrome. As Iroha converses with her Doppel, she exclaims that despite everything, she's happy she became a Magical Girl. Her Doppel dissolves into many ribbons which reach for all the Magical Girls of Kamihama and a new, more powerful form of her Doppel emerges. Iroha realizes that Ui had given her the ability to collect everyone's impurities, and Iroha uses Kuroe's Grief Seed to turn her Doppel, as well as the collected impurities into a weapon against Alina. Yachiyo also adds her power through her halberd, which now has four ribbons representing her deceased friends. As Neo Dorothy is mesmerized by Madoka's attack on Walpurgisnacht, Iroha launches the attack and obliterates her, with a vision of Iroha comforting Neo Dorothy before its destruction.
    • With Walpurisnacht having been empowered by the power of the Uwasa, the Holy Quintet are unable to defeat her and Homura negates this timeline.
  • After the attack, the media has regarded the disasters in Kamihama as caused by multiple earthquakes, a typhoon, as well as several attacks by terrorist groups, though some people in Kamihama do recall being saved by girls in dresses, not knowing they're Magical Girls.
    • Most importantly, the Magical Girls in Kamihama have taken to supporting each other, as well as ones from other places, by starting a support group for each other, the Kamihama Magia Union.
    • Many of the Black Feathers and girls of Kamihama hold funerals for their deceased friends.
    • Rena and Kaede take on helping Mitama at her Coordinator's business to help other Magical Girls.
    • Many girls also seek solace in Mikazuki Villa, being helped by Yachiyo who has now cut her hair.
    • Karin receives Alina's last artwork.
    • Ui's memory has been restored, alongside all proof of her existence.
  • Kyubey congratulates Iroha on the fact that nobody will know the existence of Magical Girls, but Iroha explains that they themselves know what happened, and that they will not forget it.

This timeline ends with Ultimate Madoka archiving it as a book named Magia Record, being given to her by Iroha herself.
