- Madoka Magica Café
- The Good Smile Café is a café in Tokyo specialized in anime and otaku culture. After the TV series ended, the café turned into "Madoka Magica Café" for a few months (2 months were planned; the event was extended by one extra month due to its popularity).

- Puella Magi Madoka Magica premiere in the US
- At Otakon 2011 in Baltimore (Maryland), Aniplex of America screened the first three episodes of Madoka Magica with English subtitles. The event was then followed by an interview of Atsuhiro Iwakami, the series director. Learn more about the event on this page!
