These are updates, events, competitions, and promotions for the Madoka Magica Online game.

Current Events

New PvP point rewards:
- 100 points - 10,000 coins
- 300 points - Brown x10
- 1,000 points - 10 purple + QB synthesis card
- 2,000 points - AP pot.
- 3,000 points - 3 Platinums + QB synthesis card
- 4,000 points - AP pot
- 5,000 points - 3 Platinums + Akemi Homura S
- 6,000 points - 2 AP pots
- 7,000 points - 3 Platinums
- 8,000 points - 2 AP pots + QB synthesis card
- 9,000 points - 3 Platinums
- 10,000 points - AP pot+ Sakura Kyouko S
10/19: PvP progress update: See the Top player rankings and points/placement table.
10/19: Play co-op three times each day this weekend to get bonus coins (20k-60k depending on how often you play).
10/19: Twitter event for co-op.
10/19: Some people may experience trouble with their PvP list, they are working on that.
10/19: If you are on Rose and playing in a quest halfway during the Thursday maintenance, the quest data is lost. For that all Rose players playing before maintenance will get 1 AP pot. 2nd Co-op test run had been done with more disconnects and sufferings.
10/18: Another chance at the S nailbat: gather certain Sayaka cards.
- Sayaka holding a normal bat and smiling (RR skill card)
- Sayaka doing a SHAFT head tilt (R atk card)
- Sayaka about to tickle Madoka (RR def card)
10/18:Draw an original meguca for a chance for your drawn weapon, dress and accessory to be implemented in game.
- Rules
  - Bow,lance,spear,sword,axe,firearm, one type only. (no two handeds)
  - Have to have niconico account, submission is done by posting your drawing on nico "静画" with the tag "魔法少女まどか☆マギカオンラインイラコン"
  - You can post multiple entries

  - 10 Consolation;WebMoney card

10/17: A U card with Kyoko and Homura has been added to the platinum box along with Halloween Kyoko, her costume, and more.
10/17: New special box cards have been added including bunny ears, dresses and stat cards.
10/17: A TV commercial for Madoka Online will air on Tokyo MX today narrated by Aoi Yuuki.
10/16: Co-op test run during the 2 hours after maintenance ended. Participation reward is 1 AP potion. [Dist. 10/19]
10/16: Plat box campaign.
10/16: Scheduled Maintenance on 10/17 1100~1700hrs JST.
- Co-op play implementation. Will open on the weekend only starting 10/19.
- Items stored in the gift tab with expiry date will be kept for 3 hours rather than 1.
- The total ATK of your whole party could be seen in your profile page.
- Fix of the bazooka homuhomu RR skill card not activating.
10/16: Change of plat and purple box content 10/17, removal of the cards below;
- Platinum box: Haloween madoka, hat and dress.
- Purple box: The annoying gym clothes series.
10/16: Free 3 platinum tickets for all! In celebration of the movie. [Distribution 10/17 maintenance]
10/15: Lawson convenience store campaign.
10/15: [Until 10/19]Clear A-X quests to receive rewards once a day for each quest. A1:30k coins,A2:40k coins + 20 purples, A3 50k coins, A4: 60k coins + 30 purples [Distribution 10/24]
10/12: A preview of co-op has been posted. (Announcement). See this post and the blog for previous information.
10/12: 1Day1 Event: On 10/13, 10/14, and 10/15 you'll receive rewards once per day for opening the platinum box.
- For each first-time-that-day roll, you'll get 1 AP potion and a chance at winning one of these clothes:
  - SS Purple Sprite +50DEF: 3% chance
  - S Gothic Pink +25DEF: 3% chance
  - S Blue School Uniform: 5%
  - S Yellow Asagi Coat: 5%
  - RR Pink Night: 10%
  - RR Black Military: 10%
  - RR Purple Vocaloid: 10%
  - R Green Hunter: 18%
  - R Red Cavalier: 18%
  - R White Butler: 18%
- If you win clothes, they will be sent to your presents automatically on 10/17.
10/12: Login campaign until 10/15 2359hrs. Login every day for 2 days: 30 purples + 1 AP pot, 3 days : S-spear + 2 AP pots. [Distribution 10/17]
10/12: Legendary nail-bat event; keep the N nailbat, wooden sword and wooden stick until the start of 10/17 maintenance to get a legendary S-class nailbat. Campaign site. [Distribution not set yet]
10/11: Twitter event.
10/11: Roll purple tickets until 10/17 to get rewards. (distribution 10/24)
- 20 rolls: 30000coins
- 50 rolls: lv30 stick
- 80 rolls: S Hydra bow
- 120 rolls: Devil wing accessory with DEF buff
10/10 maintenance updates:
- Free 3 AP pots for those who login from the end of maintenance until 2200hrs JST.
  - Roughly 3 hours after maintenance ended. Distribution will be done 10/11
- Refer to the 10/10 maintenance changes.
- Reward tickets for doing PvP multiple times between (1)10/10~10/17 and (2)10/17~10/24
  - 50 times : 30 browns
  - 100 times : 30 specials
  - 150 times : 3 platinums
  - Top 100 ranking: 9 platinums
  - Top 10 ranking: 9 platinums and puppy accessory card
- Special QB box content change: rates are still the same, with SS lance still available.
- Rarity class U cards and clothes, accessories with stat buffs
- Presents for buying platinum cards
- Platinum box content change: Madoka skill card, haloween Mumi, haloween series skill cards.
- New PvP rewards according to your PvP point ranking in your world, and also your meguca's total accumulated PvP points in the span of two weeks. Update page with tables
10/09: Several changes were announced ahead of the 10/10 maintenance:
- Purple tickets will be changed to "special" tickets, other than the name change, the new tickets will not be sold at the cash
- Platinum ticket box content changes
- New rarity class above SS ; rarity class U
- PvP system renewal
  - The pvp points and rank will be reset every 2 weeks
  - Rewards according to the pvp points every 2 weeks
  - Increase of the maximum pvp point limit
- Increase of the maximum number of cards per category from 30 to 50
- Status buff for clothes and accessories cards (yay!)
  - They won't swap the ones we already have. You have to gamble for them, again.
10/06: A new PVP system will be introduced on 10/10 featuring ranking resets every two weeks, rewards for reaching 5000, and special kyupons.Update page with table
10/06: The inventory capacity will be increased from 30 to 50 on 10/10.
10/05: The 3rd Magical Girl Power Ranking will take place on 10/10.
10/05: The Sayaka Rabu event concluded. The strongest Sayaka had 5277 ATK, and belonged to 杏子養い隊総隊長 on Rose. Rose also had the highest combined Sayaka power with 1,090,516 ATK server-wide.
10/05: Log in every day from 10/6 to 10/10 to get pig ears.
- Get 10,000 coins for logging in at least 3 of those days.
10/05: Items will be awarded based on PVP points at the start of maintenance on 10/10.
- 4000-5000 points: 9 platinum tickets
- Rewards for finishing in other point ranges vary as listed on the official site
- Items will be distributed on 10/17.
10/04: Co-op will be implemented in October. See the blog.
- Form a group of 4 players
- Fight more powerful witches that drop co-op only items

10/03: Drop rates for SS and S items have been increased to 3x for the purple box and 5x for the platinum box.
10/03: A bug is causing some Ben'nu spears to have too much attack, and they will be corrected in a future maintenance.
10/03: A variety ticket campaign will award prizes for opening the brown Kyubey BOX many times.
- 50 times: 30,000 coins
- 100 times (total, the first 50 count): Get a level 30 N nail bat weapon.
- 200 times: Get a magic formula handgun S weapon.
- 300 times: Get a devil wings and tail S accessory.
- The event lasts from 10/3 to 10/10. Rewards will be distributed on 10/17.
10/03: A level up campaign will give rewards for reaching levels 13, 18, and 23 between 10/3 and 10/17.
- 13: 60 variety tickets
- 18: An Ururato Nero S musket
- 23: Headphones S accessory
- Rewards will be distributed on 10/24

Future Updates

End-September (Delayed, unknown ETA): Co-op play with max 4 people, chat while you clear those quests with your friends!

October : Guild System!, Raid Bosses! Rankings! Extra Dungeons, Additional quests!

November : Weapon Synthesis improvement! Guild System Improvement!, Raid Bosses Improvement!

An extra accessory slot may be purchasable in the shop.

10/03: Drop rates for SS and S items have been increased to 3x for the purple box and 5x for the platinum box.

Maintenance Changes: 9/26

New cards added during the 9/26 maintenance. (Not including weapons)

New cards added to the boxes
- Purple Box: A SS spear, new S weapons, pig ears and nose(for mami), blue gothic dress.
- Platinum Box: A super strong AA spear, new all stat cards of the characters, cat tail and ears
Daily login stamp: You'll get bonuses including coins, limited tickets, and platinum tickets for logging in every day.
Level cap increased to 60.
Weapon level cap increased to 60 for SS and 50 for S.
Extra stages 5 and 6 featuring Patricia and Izabel.
Various limited cards have been removed.
- The purple box will no longer drop the SS sword, bikinis, or S stat cards with the girls relaxing.
- The platinum box will no longer drop the SS bikini characters, the yukata pair cards, or the girls with animals cards.
The roll rates for the S and SS cards from the boxes have returned to their old rates.

Past Events

10/04: Game balance will be adjusted in the near future.
- The staff is aware that the 30 card inventory limit is too small, but cannot change it yet due to server load.
10/03: New items have been added to the purple and platinum boxes. [3] [4]
- Purple box:
  - SS Maid outfit (formerly available in the platinum box)
  - Gym clothes stat cards for Madoka, Homura, and Sayaka
  - Yellow Asagi coat, Black frilly dress, purple earmuffs, an RR Homura rocket launcher card, an S handgun, and an RR spear
- Platinum box:
  - SS Halloween Madoka character card
  - SS clothes and accessories allowing you to wear Madoka's costume
  - SS Homura bow card
  - SS musket (blue and silver)
10/02 update: The contents of the Kyubey BOX will be changed during maintenance.

- SS platinum box maid uniform
- CP cards
10/02 update: Open the platinum box 100 times starting on 10/2 to get an SS musket and other prizes.
- Open it 50 times to get a Gaia Break S sword
- Open it 100 times (50 more after the first 50) to get a Fata-Unara SS musket.
- For every additional 100 times you open it after that, you'll get another copy of the musket.
- Every time you buy the 33-pack of platinum tickets, you'll get 30,000 coins. Buying the 3-pack 11 times will not count.
10/02 update: Maintenance will take place on 10/3 at 11 JST.
9/29 update:[From 9/29 2200 ~ till 9/30 0200]Cash point time sales for GG points and niconico points.
- buy 3000 points, get 100 points extra
- 5000 points, get 300 points extra
- 10000 points, get 1000 points extra for both niconico and GG points.
  - For nico points, more than 1000 points also need to be used between 9/29 2200hrs ～9/30 2359hrs to be eligible for the extra points.
9/28 update: Sayaka Rabu Ranking Event; ATK ranking data will be collected for N-Sayaka in your party during the 10/3 maintenance. Total ATK = N-Sayaka raw ATK + equipped sword (sword only) ATK + ATK buff skill card. Put ランキング参加中 in your shoutout box to participate.
9/28 update: Another platinum card campaign, get extra items when you roll the platinum box. The number of rolls is accumulative (you cannot get the same reward twice).
- 1 roll = 1 AP Potion
- 5 rolls = 1 AP Potion
- 10 rolls = 1 AP Potion + 3 Platinum tickets
- Consequent 10 rolls = 6 Platinum tickets

9/27 update: Train Your Megucas 3 Big Campaign update; 30000 coins for players registering between 9/11 - 9/26 should have been distributed. Check your gift tab.
9/27 update: GG points timesale [ended]
9/25: Various limited cards will be removed. It is likely that they will be replaced by a new set of limited time only cards.
- The purple box will no longer drop the SS sword, bikinis, or S stat cards with the girls relaxing.

9/24: "Open me and get items" campaign, running from 18:00 JST on September 24 to September 26. Presents are awarded based on the number of times the platinum Kyubey BOX is opened during the campaign.
- 1 opening: 1 AP potion
- 5 openings: Another AP potion
- 10 openings: Another two AP potions
- Each subsequent 10 openings: 3 platinum tickets
9/22 update : New info on the 9/26th maintenance game update:
- 10 new quests(2 new stages) with Patricia and Izabel as bosses for 5-5 and 6-5
- Level cap for player levels will be increased to 60
9/21 update : Applications are being accepted for the 2nd stage of the Magical Girl Power Ranking.
9/21 update : 3 Big Meguca Training Campaign update
- [Ends September 26th]Level up until you get your level-R megucas to get angel wings accessories for each of the R-megucas. (The highest level is R-Mami for level 45, however you will get the angel wings for your other level-R megucas even if you did not get to level 45.^[1][Presents will be distributed 10/3 maintenance]
- Exp from quests has been increased. Each gives 2 more than the previous level in the same world and bosses give +20, so 4-5 now gives 150 exp and 4-4 gives 136.^[2]
- All players registered between 9/11 and 9/26 will receive 30000 coins for upgrading weapons.[Presents will be distributed 9/27]
9/21 update : Level caps for weapons will be increased on September 26 to 60 for SS, 50 for S, and 40 for R and RR. A 30SS 2925ATK weapon can become 60SS 5350ATK, and a 30S 2010ATK can become 50S 3110ATK.^[3]
9/21 update :Log in daily from 24th until the 28th to get a green nurse hat for a total of 5 days login, and 30 brown kyupons for 3 days login. [Presents will be distributed 10/3 maintenance]
9/19 update : [From 9/19 17:00 JST - until 9/26] Drop rates from the Kyubey BOX have been increased. Purple tickets: 1% SS, 7.05% S, 29.64% RR, 62.26% R. Premium tickets: 3% SS, 8.01% S, 88.99% RR.
9/19 update : 300 Thousand Megucas Contracted Campaign
- Beat A-1 boss by September 26 to get a special green dress.^[4]
- Get accessories by defeating the other A-x bosses (A-2: Pink Ribbon, A-3: Pink Muffler, A-4:Bat Wings) [Presents will be distributed 10/3 maintenance]

Log in every day from 9/12/2012 to 9/17/2012 (up to 23:59 Japan Time) to get a black cat tail.
Get a weapon up to level 10 to receive a free S ranked spear.
