These are updates, events, competitions, and promotions for the Madoka Magica Online game.
This page is currently under construction, and will eventually contain additional details going beyond the brief summaries in the news and events box. (if you want to clean it up yourself, go ahead, especially if you can read the announcements better than google translate)
Current Events
9/29 update:[From 9/29 2200 ~ till 9/30 0200]Cash point time sales for GG points and niconico points.
- buy 3000 points, get 100 points extra
- 5000 points, get 300 points extra
- 10000 points, get 1000 points extra for both niconico and GG points.
- 9/28 update: Sayaka Rabu Ranking Event; ATK ranking data will be collected for N-Sayaka in your party during the 10/3 maintenance. Total ATK = N-Sayaka raw ATK + equipped sword (sword only) ATK + ATK buff skill card. Put ランキング参加中 in your shoutout box to participate.
- 9/28 update: Another platinum card campaign, get extra items when you roll the platinum box. The number of rolls is accumulative (you cannot get the same reward twice).
- 1 roll = 1 AP Potion
- 5 rolls = 1 AP Potion
- 10 rolls = 1 AP Potion + 3 Platinum tickets
- Consequent 10 rolls = 6 Platinum tickets
Future Updates
- Mid-September: Addition of special quests, ranking feature between those in your friend list.
- End-September: Co-op play with max 4 people, chat while you clear those quests with your friends! , New stages and quest, with continuation of the current story!
- October : Guild System!, Raid Bosses! Rankings! Extra Dungeons, Additional quests!
- November : Weapon Synthesis improvement! Guild System Improvement!, Raid Bosses Improvement!
- Patricia and Izabel will appear in the game.
- An extra accessory slot may be purchasable in the shop.
Upcoming changes:
- Selling multiple cards at once
- Increased friends list size
- Accidental card selling prevention
- Improved chat
- Volume adjustment
- Use AP restore potions from the item window
- Removal of the ticket acquisition pop-up
- Confirmation window when buying items
- Extension of items being held in the presents box
Past Events
- 9/25: Various limited cards will be removed. It is likely that they will be replaced by a new set of limited time only cards.
- The purple box will no longer drop the SS sword, bikinis, or S stat cards with the girls relaxing.
- The platinum box will no longer drop the SS bikini characters, the yukata pair cards, or the girls with animals cards.
- 9/24: "Open me and get items" campaign, running from 18:00 JST on September 24 to September 26. Presents are awarded based on the number of times the platinum Kyubey BOX is opened during the campaign.
- 1 opening: 1 AP potion
- 5 openings: Another AP potion
- 10 openings: Another two AP potions
- Each subsequent 10 openings: 3 platinum tickets
- 9/22 update : New info on the 9/26th maintenance game update:
- 10 new quests(2 new stages) with Patricia and Izabel as bosses for 5-5 and 6-5
- Level cap for player levels will be increased to 60
- 9/21 update : Applications are being accepted for the 2nd stage of the Magical Girl Power Ranking.
- 9/21 update : 3 Big Meguca Training Campaign update
- [Ends September 26th]Level up until you get your level-R megucas to get angel wings accessories for each of the R-megucas. (The highest level is R-Mami for level 45, however you will get the angel wings for your other level-R megucas even if you did not get to level 45.[1][Presents will be distributed 10/3 maintenance]
- Exp from quests has been increased. Each gives 2 more than the previous level in the same world and bosses give +20, so 4-5 now gives 150 exp and 4-4 gives 136.[2]
- All players registered between 9/11 and 9/26 will receive 30000 coins for upgrading weapons.[Presents will be distributed 9/27]
- 9/21 update : Level caps for weapons will be increased on September 26 to 60 for SS, 50 for S, and 40 for R and RR. A 30SS 2925ATK weapon can become 60SS 5350ATK, and a 30S 2010ATK can become 50S 3110ATK.[3]
- 9/21 update :Log in daily from 24th until the 28th to get a green nurse hat for a total of 5 days login, and 30 brown kyupons for 3 days login. [Presents will be distributed 10/3 maintenance]
- 9/19 update : [From 9/19 17:00 JST - until 9/26] Drop rates from the Kyubey BOX have been increased. Purple tickets: 1% SS, 7.05% S, 29.64% RR, 62.26% R. Premium tickets: 3% SS, 8.01% S, 88.99% RR.
- 9/19 update : 300 Thousand Megucas Contracted Campaign
- Beat A-1 boss by September 26 to get a special green dress.[4]
- Get accessories by defeating the other A-x bosses (A-2: Pink Ribbon, A-3: Pink Muffler, A-4:Bat Wings) [Presents will be distributed 10/3 maintenance]
- Log in every day from 9/12/2012 to 9/17/2012 (up to 23:59 Japan Time) to get a black cat tail.
- Get a weapon up to level 10 to receive a free S ranked spear.
- Twitter event: 1. What you wished for 2. Name 3. World with the hash tag #mmmo Randomly chosen winners will get 6 platinum tickets.
