Madoka Magica Online Story Quest 2

The following dialogue appears in the second quest in the Madoka Magica Online Story.

Mami: I heard fights have been happening frequently around the school, but I don't sense a witch nearby. What do you think, (Player)-san?

What? You sense a barrier around here? You're sharp. Your tracking senses seem to be best among us.

This barrier... It must be a familiar. Let's tell everyone else and enter it as soon as possible.

Oh, that's right. I have a request for you. Please tell us about any witches and familiars you spot. Familiars don't drop Grief Seeds, but the danger they pose is no different than a witch. Don't forget that.

Homura: ...(Player). I'm sure you noticed it too. The witch's barrier revived itself.

This is... It's the same barrier as the familiar we fought earlier. It's creeping around the area and absorbing energy into itself. It's improving rapidly... I don't seek to meddle with witches or familiars. When this team was formed, I don't recall agreeing with Tomoe Mami to join. What will you do, (Player)?

I see... If that's what you want, I have no complaints. Call everyone here so we can defeat the familiar.

Kyoko: Che... I said before I don't deal with familiars, remember? But you girls hollered for me anyways!

Mami: And who was the one who said, "I can't leave it up to those rookies!" and fought her hardest for them?

Kyoko: Wha-what're you're saying, Mami-san?! I just came here because you guys said there was a barrier! I-I wasn't worried one bit!

Madoka: Thank you, Kyoko-chan.

Kyoko: Y-You've got it all wrong! Th-there still might be more barriers around here! Get your butts moving, girls!

Madoka: Oh, everyone! It's terrible! A puppy... Lots of puppies just wandered into a barrier right in front of me!

Sayaka: Puppies? Ah, that's right. We did see puppies the other day. You're talking about them?

Kyoko: Whoa, hold up. We're saving people and puppies now? ...Well, I suppose anything wandering into a barrier counts.

Mami: Why not? I approve saving them too. It doesn't matter who or what they are. The thought of rescuing something is what counts. Right, Kaname-san?

Madoka: Please, I want to save those puppies. Kyoko-chan, (Player)-chan, please lend me your strength!

Mami: Is this all of them? Fufu... They're so cute. Good for you, Kaname-san.

Madoka: Thank you, Mami-san. Everyone, thank you so much!

Kyoko: Hehe... Madoka, take these little mutts back to their mama. Mama's probably worried sick for them.

Sayaka: But, Mami-san, what do we do? We can't just leave the barrier like this.

Mami: Right... It may not have revived completely, but it's only a matter of time before a real incident occurs. We have to do something before then.

Mami: We can't leave this barrier be. It will be strenuous, but let's enter the barrier again and defeat every witch minion we see in one go!

Sayaka: She did it! That's Mami-san for you, she's the one we can rely on!

Madoka: Mami-san's amazing. I want to become a great magical girl like her someday!

Kyoko: Hmph! We're just beating up familiars. I can do that too if that's all they've got.

Mami: Maybe I went a little overboard. But, I don't want to lose face before my juniors.

Mami: (Player)-san, show me your Soul Gem for a moment. ... It's about time we purify it. Everyone, do you mind if our newcomer (Player)-san uses the Grief Seed first?

Madoka/Sayaka: Go right ahead!

Kyoko: I don't mind much. Isn't she the one who looks more upset about it than us?

Homura: ...

Kyoko: Yo. You don't say a peep and fight beside us, but do you really not like that rookie using the Grief Seed?

Homura: ... Not particularly. That was something everyone earned, and what is done with it is up to everyone's discretion. I'll find my portion for myself.

Sayaka: What's with that attitude! You're always a creep!

Homura: ... The witch is gone. I'm leaving.

Madoka: Homura-chan. Why is she like that? It would be nice if she could get along with everyone...
