October 8th: Puella Magi Madoka Magica dominated the awards in the newly established Newtype x Machi ★ Asobi! The Moving Pictures Festival, including Best Anime, Best Director and Best Screenplay.
Madoka previously won another award this year, the Anime Kobe 2011 TV Feature Award.
