Puella Magi Madoka Magica won awards in twelve categories, including best TV animation and director, in the newly established Newtype x Machi ★ Asobi! The Moving Pictures Festival.
Other awards were in: Screenplay, Character, Design, Photography, Artistic Direction, Color Design, Effects, Best Commercial. Aoi Yuki as Best Voice Actress, Kyubey as Mascot, Homura Akemi was voted Favorite Female Character and Chiwa Saito Best Supporting Voice Actress and "Connect" as best theme song.
Madoka previously won another award this year, the Anime Kobe 2011 TV Feature Award.
