Homura	It's the warmth of family.	ほむら	「それは、温かな家族。」
Madoka	It's fried eggs for breakfast.	まどか	「それは、朝ご飯の目玉焼き。」
Madoka Homura	But there's nothing like that in Heaven.	まどか ほむら	「けれど、そのどれもが天国にはないものです。」
Madoka Homura	Do you know what happiness is?	まどか ほむら	「幸せって、何かしら。」
Homura	It's having your name called by someone.	ほむら	「それは、誰かに名前を呼ばれること。」
Madoka	It's calling someone's name.	まどか	「それは、誰かの名前を呼ぶこと。」
Homura	It's when someone is thinking of you.	ほむら	「それは、誰かが自分を想ってくれること。」
Madoka Homura	But God cannot have any of this.	まどか ほむら	「それはなにひとつ、神様にはないものでした。」
Homura	A lizard girl took pity on God…	ほむら	「トカゲの女の子は、神様のことがとてもかわいそうに思えてきました。」
Madoka	…so the lizard girl tore God in two, and took one of her halves to Earth from Heaven.	まどか	「こうしてトカゲの女の子は神様をまっぷたつに引き裂いて、その片方を天国から地上へと連れ去ってしまったのです。」
Homura	An act even that cruel can seem like a ray of light from the darkness… it's beautiful.	ほむら	「その残酷なまでに優しい輝き、闇の中で出逢うには……まぶしすぎる。」
Girl A	There's a lot of cats around these days.	A	「最近猫が多いね。」
Girl B	But many of those cats are dead.	B	「死んだ猫が混じっているんだって。」
Girl A	What's the difference between the live cats and the dead cats?	A	「死んだ猫はどうやって見分けるの?」
Kyoko	I just can't forgive people who turn to others for reasons they don't understand.	杏子	「あたしが許せねえのはな、そういう訳の分かんねえ理由で他人にヤッパを向けるやつだよ。」
Sayaka	This is a joke, right? What's the meaning of this? Why can I read these letters?	さやか	「嘘でしょ、どういうこと。なんであたしにこの文字が読めるの?」
Hitomi	You should be discreet. If the existence of magic isn't kept secret, it could disappear.	仁美	「それはきっと、口止めされているんですわ。魔法のご利益って内緒にしておかないと、効き目が消えてしまうものでしょう。」
Nagisa	This smells like a conspiracy!	なぎさ	「これは何やら陰謀の臭いがするのです。」
Kyubey	Why me? This doesn't have any merit.	キュゥべえ	「どうして僕が? それこそ、何のメリットもないじゃないか。」
Mami	So you have been keeping secrets from us as well.	マミ	「あなたもあなたで、誰と一緒の時も隠し事ばっかりね。」
Homura	Are you planning to get in my way?	ほむら	「私の邪魔をしようっていうの?」
Madoka	You don't need to resent anyone anymore. You… me…	まどか	「もう誰も恨まなくていいの。あなたは……私が……。」
Madoka	So you can help me, too, fairies?	まどか	「助けてくれるの? あなたたちも、妖精さん?」
