Homura is repeating time to save Madoka.
Upon learning the truth, Mabayu tried to appear before Homura.
However, she hesitates when she sees the transformed Homura erase Kyubey.
Later, when there are multiple Kyubeys and Madoka is in danger of making a contract, Mabayu finally appears before Homura and informs her of the situation.
However, this was tantamount to confessing to peeping and seeming disgusting due to the situation.
Nevertheless, Mabayu saves Madoka, who is struggling against the witch, and loses her own life when she saves Homura, who had tried to distance herself from Madoka, after making a contract with her by seeing the future with her own magic.
She did this because she respected Homura's love for Madoka.
