Her Doppel thus sets fire to itself and burns away all that it touches, in order to satisfy its master by bringing reality closer to that fiction. However, burning away only reality is no easy feat. Once its flames have run their course, not even imagination remains.

Mifuyu Azusa (Fairy Tale ver.) (梓 みふゆ おとぎ話ver. Azusa Mifuyu (Otogibanashi ver.)) was a playable character in the 2017 mobile game Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story: Magia Record. She was a version of Mifuyu Azusa in an alternate outfit that used fire magic.

その姿は、鳥捕り。
この感情の主は、かつて演じた虚構の存在を自らの一部として受け入れたことで、自らが暴虐の血筋であり、周囲に破滅をもたらすものだと信じてしまった。そのためドッペルは自らに火を放ち、触れたものを焼き払うことで、現実を虚構に近付けて主を満たそうとしている。しかし、現実のみを焼き払うことは難しく、その炎が走った後には空想すら残らない。

- The character in her last name means "cherry birch" (梓).
- An "Azusa Yumi" (梓弓) is a sacred (and sometimes musical) bow used by shrine maidens in Shinto rituals to ward off evil spirits.
