Narumi Serizawa

Narumi Serizawa (芹沢ナルミ Serizawa Narumi) was the novelist Umika had initially approached in chapter 10 to publish her work "Maps, Letter And Your Song" but ended up plagiarizing it. They're not clearly seen in the story, only mentioned.

The characters in her surname mean "celery" () and "mountain stream (). Her first name is spelled in katakana which has no particular meaning.

Slice Akiyama

Slice Akiyama (スライス秋山 Suraisu Akiyama) was a celebrity chef who was scheduled to compete against Yuuri in a cooking contest.

"Slice" is an English verb that means "to cut". The characters in his surname mean "autumn" () and "mountain" ().

Kaede Hinata

One of many magical girls that the Pleiades Saints hunted down and trapped inside the Freezer. She's the only one of these girls who is named besides Akane Sumire. Nothing is known of her besides her name. It's not even clear which name is her surname and which is her given name – both are typically given names. Kaede means "maple" (which would be 楓 in kanji) and Hinata would usually be spelled 日向, meaning "sunny place" – the same as Matsuri's surname.

Maia

Maia was Michiru Kazusa's grandmother and adoptive mother. She is the eldest of seven sisters and the last one alive. She was married to a Japanese man and is natively Italian. She stayed in Japan after her husband died and was neighbors with Kazumi's parents. After her parents died, Maia adopted Kazumi and took care of her. She was adopted, and didn't want Kazumi to go to an institution like she did. Michiru made her wish to extend Maia's life.

She is named after the eldest sister of the Pleiades, Maia, who is associated with springtime and gave her name to the month of May.
