Nighthawk (ヨダカ Yodaka) is a character in the 2024 mobile game Puella Magi Madoka Magica Magia Exedra. They are a resident of the Lighthouse Theatre and has lived there for a very long time, preceding Name. Nighthawk acts as the game's shopkeeper, with A-Q claiming they collect junk from around the Lighthouse and sell them. They seem to be unable to communicate in human language, but is able to understand it.
Their name was revealed in Ready Set Exedra Episode 8.
Etymology
A nighthawk is a type of bird native to the western hemisphere. They are a nocturnal bird of prey and are a part of the nightjar family.
Trivia
- Yodaka (ヨダカ) might be a mispelling of Yotaka (ヨタカ), the Japanese name for the grey nightjar.
- Similarly to Ichizo, Nighthawk seems to have mud dripping from its wings.
