I uploaded transcripts of the Archive voicelines. One pair cv_XXXXXX_other_evo_fee + cv_XXXXXX_other_story makes the full set, it seems like they're ordered like [evo_fee1, story1, evo_fee2, story2, ...., evo_fee7, story7], if https://exedra.wiki/wiki/Nothing_to_Despair,_Ever/Voice is anything to go by. Naturally, that's only the Archive voicelines, I don't have what doesn't have an official transcription/translation.

So basically, how should I deal with them? XXXXXX is a kioku ID, but some alts don't have unique voicelines, like Pluvia Magica and Lux Magica share theirs. Do we want to:

  • make them subpages of the Kioku pages?
  • make them subpages of the specific girl's page?
  • make them subpages of Magia Exedra Story Transcripts
  • put them directly either on the girl/kioku pages?
  • something else?

This isn't an argument for making them subpages of the Kioku pages, but if we did that, we could probably add redirects for cases like Pluvia/Lux Magica… but maybe subpages of the character pages is better…? They're not a story transcript, so I think it probably wouldn't make sense to put them there. ~ Celtic Minstrel (talk) 13:31, 22 October 2025 (UTC)
Hmmm... Maybe we should skip the transcript-related templates too, and go with a plainer one or just a normal table for those? As for the naming scheme, something like:
  • Madoka Kaname in Magia Exedra/Generic/Voicelines (redirects from pluvia/lux magica voiceline pages)
  • Madoka Kaname in Magia Exedra/Pluvia * Clara/Voicelines (currently still uses generics, but they'll update it https://x.com/madoka_exedra/status/1979505668139970613/photo/1 )
  • Madoka Kaname in Magia Exedra/Nothing to Despair, Ever/Voicelines

Looking closer at what the other wiki has... So there are the Archive voicelines, that apparently are subtitled, and there are voicelines for specific uses, like unlocking something or doing specific things in combat, that have no subs. Lux and Pluvia Magica share the Archive voicelines, which are easy for anyone with access to the game's files to do, but the non-subtitled ones, well, they differ between the two Kioku, and they require someone to manually sit down, transcribe them, and translate them. Our wiki also has no precedence for hosting voicefiles, so I dunno if we wanna just have the text, or text+voice. EPF (talk) 17:21, 22 October 2025 (UTC)
For what it's worth: subs for the archive voice lines were added as part of the "dollhouse" feature – if you set a magical girl to appear on the main screen, instead of the Lighthouse, you can tap her to hear her lines with subtitles. ~ Celtic Minstrel (talk) 17:33, 22 October 2025 (UTC)
Hm. Well, it doesn't change much now, no? Either way, we have some voicelines with official text, and some without. EPF (talk) 17:37, 22 October 2025 (UTC)
Yes, that was pure information, just as an aside. ~ Celtic Minstrel (talk) 18:42, 22 October 2025 (UTC)
