- Kkkkkkiiiiiinda? So like, these would be crops of the Live2D models. Once you got the static images (we have most under Magia Exedra Live2D ID List, and I exported some more in the meanwhile, but I'd have to mess with the names, which is a pain, so I haven't done that yet), you *could* pick some wide crop that'd have everyone's face in, regardless of height. It's just, it'd look kinda dumb. So manual would be preferrable, cuz I definitely can't do any fancy "chin detection" or anything like that EPF (talk) 18:22, 20 October 2025 (UTC)

- As it turns out, the characters' heads are actually aligned pretty decently, so it's automatable and the results ain't half bad. There are a few bad apples to fix manually - mostly Karin and non-humans - but you can peek Category:Magia_Exedra_Live2D_Icons to see the results. EPF (talk) 14:40, 6 November 2025 (UTC)
- Also, I know that the current names are different from both the first and second version of the dialogue template, I'll adjust that eventually, when writing the module I assumed I'm not going to be using the template for MagiReco at any point, but I changed my plans. - Hmm… I'd also add Nanaka and Ultimate Madoka to the "manually redo" list. But most of them do look just find, though the head height is definitely inconsistent across the icons. List format
Now that I think of it, I ain't all that fond of the format I placed this page in. It's a plain list, which is kind of a pain to look through. The events I could probably collate with Magia_Exedra_Events, no idea what about the rest. And I do want the transcripts to be available "on one page", so to speak... Automated story transcripts - howto
If anyone wants to help, here's how I've been doing these transcripts:
Obtaining JSONs
Letting someone else do it for you
I'm currently maintaining a Google Drive with story JSONs. I can't guarantee doing it for a prolonged amount of time though, my interests wax and wane, so it might easily go out of date quickly. Also I can't access JP JSONs for some reason.
GameResDownloader
People at UnityPy's Discord have a tool named GameResDownloader2 which downloads and decrypts the game's files for you. Once you manage to get it to run, *\Madoka Magica Magia Exedra_GL\Resources\Scenarios is where you're going to be able to find the story JSONs, separated by type into separate folders, and then every story segment is its own folder with exactly one JSON in it.
Converting the JSONs to wiki format
Go to https://drive.google.com/drive/u/8/folders/11vAACIFVseHb5DpC0kHvzEUlRQG5F76t and use my scripts. The README explains stuff.
