This is possibly because Homura's time travel has been stated to retroactively change events or details of the timeline she enters in, even if they occurred before her arrival. Perhaps the most well-known case of this happening was the pebble which caused Iroha Tamaki's survival in the Magia Record Universe.
This feels like you're making up assumptions again, though I don't know the source material well enough to be sure, so…
- Where is it stated that Homura's time travel has retroactive effects?
- I see that the reference you used for Iroha's survival clearly mentions that she survived in that timeline due to a pebble; but I don't see any evidence to suggest that that survival predated Homura's time travel window.
Admittedly, Magia Record's Arc 1 timeline cannot be reconciled with the original anime's timeline to begin with, since it spans probably two to three months whereas the original anime is at most a month and a half (and as little as one month). So I can understand wanting to find a new way to reconcile it… but if it's speculation, it should be marked as such, and if it's not speculation, please add better references (and perhaps even direct quotes sometimes). ~ Celtic Minstrel (talk) 18:56, 13 May 2026 (UTC)
