Events

  • Day 1 - Tuesday, the 16th: Mabayu wakes to an alarm and on her way to school, Mami doesn't greet her, as she has no memories of their past after Mabayu removed them. After class, she meets Homura in the hospital, where they discuss a new plan to steal a fighter jet. Mabayu suggests Homura doesn't need her help and thanks Homura. She erases herself from everyone's memory to secure the future she's seen. Homura is unable to grasp the full meaning of Mabayu's actions, but after Mabayu cuts them, she goes back to changing her plans to fight Walpurgisnacht. Mabayu, back in her room, contemplates her inevitable fate as a Witch and prepares to fade from everyone's memory. She bids farewell before cutting her own memories.
  • Day 2 - Wednesday, the 17th: On the way to school, Mabayu overhears a conversation between Sayaka, Madoka, and Hitomi about love letters. After school, Mabayu sees a strange white creature and follows it, only to realize time has stopped. At her café job later, she wonders if it was a dream but is distracted by her aunt and a customer, Mami, who recognizes her. Mami places an order and Mabayu is thankful but has a happy feeling she can't explain.
  • Day 3 - Thursday, the 18th: During school, Mabayu reflects on her mediocre life, feeling trapped in a loop. Time stops for her again in the classroom. Later, at work, she discovers a hidden talent for drawing latte art, which earns her praise from Sakie and customers. A cat named Amy unexpectedly becomes friendly with her. Despite these small joys, Mabayu feels a persistent sense that she has forgotten something important.
  • Day 15 - Tuesday, the 30th: Mami likely dies fighting Charlotte.
  • Day 16 - Wednesday, the 31st: Mabayu notes that Mami is absent from school, which is unusual. At work, her drawings gain attention online, causing her social anxiety to flare up. She confesses to Sakie that she feels a "hole in her heart," as if she has forgotten a crucial memory. Sakie suggests that sometimes it is better to forget painful things, but Mabayu vehemently rejects this idea, causing an awkward moment.
  • Day 20 - Sunday, the 4th: An awkward tension remains between Mabayu and Sakie and Mabayu refuses a piece of cake from Sakie, which she immediately regrets. Later, while time is stopped, she watches a famous movie and is surprised to find she has no memory of it, even though she knows its famous lines. While watching, she has a vivid flashback of watching the same film with her mother, who had a unique, empathetic approach to fortune-telling. Her mother told her she did not have to become a fortune-teller like her.
  • Day 23 - Wednesday, the 7th: Mami's absence from school continues. Mabayu asks Sakie about her mother's true feelings regarding her fortune-telling. She explains that she wanted to become like her mother to help people, but is haunted by her mother's words. She worries her mother disliked her. Sakie tries to comfort her, but Mabayu becomes emotional, insisting she wants to remember everything about her mother, even the painful parts.
  • Day 26 - Saturday, the 10th: Mabayu visits the building where her mother used to work. She recalls happy memories of her mother's kindness and her own desire to be like her. However, these memories are accompanied by a painful, tightening feeling in her chest. She resolves to confront these memories on her own, keeping her investigation a secret from the concerned Sakie.
  • Day 32 - Friday, the 16th: On Walpurgisnacht, Mabayu and Sakie go to the evacuation center with everyone else. Mabayu feels the need to remember so when time stops again, she leaves the evacuation center to go to her mom's previous hospital room. Sakie ends up guessing where she'd be and finds her. Sakie tells Mabayu that she was the reason her mom kept living and the two decide to stay at the hospital until the storm ends. Mabayu then sees that the sky has suddenly cleared up and can't help but feel happy.
    • It can be surmised that Madoka defeated Walpurgisnacht in this timeline as well, due to the bright light Mabayu and Sakie see.

It is theorized that this is in fact the final timeline in this universe which is seen in the anime, however the addition of Film KS, as well as other media, makes this unlikely. Alternatively, it is possible that in the following timelines, Mabayu became a Witch quickly after waking up as she'd predicted. It is theorized that Mabayu became Itzli, due to her unique properties, but ultimately how the actual fight against Walpurgisnacht went, or what happens to Mabayu afterwards, is unknown.
