Tomohiro Furukawa (古川知宏) is a Japanese animator and anime director. He worked on a storyboard for Walpurgisnacht: Rising and is also credited as Visual Concept Designs alongside Kazuki Kawata in the movie.

Biography

Tomohiro Furukawa began his career at Studio Graffiti and worked as an animator on action series including Tatakau Shisho and Symphogear.[1] He later worked on Kunihiko Ikuhara's productions, contributing storyboards and key animation to Penguindrum and serving as assistant director on Yurikuma Arashi.[1] In 2018, Furukawa debut his first redirection role with TV anime Revue Starlight.[2]

Tomohiro Furukawa was invited to write a storyboard for the show[3] after Shaft's president, Mitsutoshi Kubota, saw his work on Revue Starlight: The Movie.[4]
