History

Tomohisa's garden

Tomohisa first appears in his garden, carefully cutting cherry tomatoes from their stems. Madoka wakes up and goes to say morning, she asks if Junko is up yet, to what Tomohisa responds that Tatsuya is trying to wake her up, but probably needs help. During breakfast, Tomohisa stays in the kitchen. He offers Junko more coffee, but she looks at the clock and decides she has to go to work already, she gives kisses him before leaving. Tomohisa tells Madoka to hurry up or she might be late to school.

One night, Tomohisa knocks on Madoka's door, asking her to come downstairs. Madoka comes to see Junko, drunk and lying on the floor, she begs for water as Tomohisa gives her a glass. Tomohisa and Madoka help walk her to bed, and then go to the kitchen to have some hot chocolate. Madoka asks Tomohisa why does Junko love to work so much even if her place of work isn't one that she dreamed of. Tomohisa starts to explain how it's not about her loving to work, but her loving to do her best, she loves challenges and gets a lot of satisfaction after achieving something. He says that that's the thing he loves about Junko.

After Mami Tomoe's death, another breakfast scene is shown. Madoka starts to cry, Tomohisa asks why, thinking she doesn't like the breakfast, but she doesn't give a clear answer.

Because of extreme weather conditions, the Kaname family evacuates to a shelter. Tatsuya innocently asks Tomohisa if they can go camping, and he agrees to make him happy.

After Madoka makes her wish and rewrites the universe to never include her, Junko and Tomohisa approach Tatsuya, who was about to grab Homura's ribbon, Tomohisa quickly grabs and scolds him about not pulling on girls' hair. Tatsuya happily repeats "Madoka" while in his father's arms. Tomohisa then goes and plays with Tatsuya out on a grass field.

Tomohisa settling into his new house with his family

At the beginning of the movie, everything plays out like the first episode of the original anime, Tomohisa is in his garden, cutting vegetables, Madoka talks with him and goes off to wake up Junko, and then they all have breakfast.

It's eventually revealed the movie takes place in a Witch's barrier, and that Tomohisa, Junko and Tatsuya were abducted from the real world. They return from the barrier unharmed, and at the end of the movie Tomohisa is shown settling into his new house in Mitakihara.
