Also, the tablet Uwasa's design does not appear to have been changed. They seem to have originated from real ema plaques.
The victims of the Rumor are stamped with a stamp in the shape of an ema plaques, like the Witch's kiss.
The symbol of torii gate used for this stamp is the same as the one that appeared in Episode 1.
The Uwasa's barrier in the anime is a space that is impressive in a flaming red sunset sky (even though it's nighttime outside), with many torii gates and arched bridges are in disarray. They appears to be transformations of the real structures of the Mizuna Shrine. It is unlike the barrier in the game which is a space in the nighttime same as outside.
The barrier was redesigned by J・A・Seazer.
The sound effect of the barrier collapsing sounds to be different from that of the Witches.
Magia Exedra
The Commoner's Horse and Séance Tablet appear in Magia Exedra. They appear in the Main Quest Uwasa of the Commoner's Horse.
Trivia
The horse uwasa is a bit difficult to translate into English; it's name includes the word "machibito" which means either the person being waited for or the person who is waiting. This term is often used on the O-mikuji, the fortune paper that can be received at Shinto shrine.
Also, the tablet Uwasa refers to the Ema (絵馬, lit. "picture-horse") plaque. As the name implies, this wish-writing tablet is derived from the real horses that had been dedicated to the shrine in old times. So, the horse Uwasa may be a reference to it too.
The horse Uwasa in the anime is a slimy, elongated dragon-like creature. This may be a reference to 守宮 (newt or geckos, "imori" or "yamori", lit. "guardian of shrine"). It's the Yokai of newt, or the kanji spelling for geckos, but both of them have long been confused in Japan.
In Magia Exedra, the Commoner's Horse was initially called the Uwasa of the Waiting One's Horse. This was quickly changed back to its Magia Record name in an update.
If not counting Shitori Egumo's different forms, The Uwasa of the Commoner's Horse is currently one of the only boss in Magia Exedra to share its battle music with another boss. The other being the Uwasa of the Chelation Land Ferris Wheel, which shares its battle music "Be Terrified" with the Commoner's Horse.
