:::Actually, it's 7 and 8, but it matters not. Vol 2 also had episode 3... and it didn't affected the cover. Plus, manga vol 3 also has chapts 9-12, and the cover has nothing like this. This cover is a definite, undeniable "this is going to be sad" message, which has not been carried by anything Madoka-related so far... if I recall correctly. Maybe they're just tired of trying to pass (or at least trolling as such) Madoka as a jolly anime, or don't think it's worth it anymore. Either way, it breaks the standard. --[[User:BrickBreak|BrickBreak]] 16:47, 30 May 2011 (UTC) | :::Actually, it's 7 and 8, but it matters not. ::::Yeah, my bad, got it confused with Vol 3. Manga is a bit different since it has a "heart-warming" ending so I see why they had a Homura and Madoka cover with the bow. Symbolically it makes sense. --[[User:Randomanon|randomanon]] 17:28, 30 May 2011 (UTC) |

Ooh, the first deadly serious cover for the series. Pretty nice compositionally as well... man, though, I kinda wish that Gekidan Inu Curry designed reversible covers for these Blu-Ray Discs, since it doesn't seem like it had any say in the cover design. That would've been pretty awesome. Animerican-Redeemed 05:11, 30 May 2011 (UTC)
