::I don't know of any. I looked at the [[:File:Demons.jpg]] and the last line clearly says 「吸われた人間は*人になる。」. I looked all the two-kanji words ending with 人 in EDICT and tried to find something with the first kanji looking somewhat like on the scan, and found just:

::* 廃人 (はいじん) (n) cripple; disabled person; invalid;

so we can confirm that they make Grief Seed by sucking human emotions (they sound more like vampires), I wonder what do they mean about the part that they turn humans into slaves, do the slaves play a similar roles like familiars, I wonder --Mutopis 20:25, 4 May 2011 (UTC)

The original kanji would be really useful here, since "slave" has so many different connotations in English. Are there any bigger scans of the original available? Momoism 20:42, 4 May 2011 (UTC)
I don't know of any. I looked at the File:Demons.jpg and the last line clearly says 「吸われた人間は人になる。」. I looked all the two-kanji words ending with 人 in EDICT and tried to find something with the first kanji looking somewhat like on the scan, and found just:
 • 原人 (げんじん) (n) primitive man; (P);
 • 庸人 (ようじん) (n) common man;
 • 廃人 (はいじん) (n) cripple; disabled person; invalid;
Nothing too fitting the "slave", unfortunately, though 廃人 looks most reasonable. --KFYatek 21:13, 4 May 2011 (UTC)
OK, found much bigger version and updated File:Demons.jpg. That kanji definitely looks like 廃 to me. --KFYatek 21:25, 4 May 2011 (UTC)
Thank you! That almost sounds as if people who have their emotions sucked out become empty shells, or something like that. Momoism 21:44, 4 May 2011 (UTC)
