:You do understand that she never actually states this, but that it's the audio commentary interpreter who thinks that's the case. It could have been a reference to "incubator" which has a similar meaning to "womb" but isn't the same thing. Japanese were more inclined to think of this theory because this isn't a word in their vocabulary. When they looked up the definition, womb seemed most appropriate. Whereas on the western side, they tended to think of the apparatus instead.
