Puella Magi Oriko Magica (魔法少女おりこ☆マギカ, Mahou Shoujo Oriko Magica) is the second spin-off manga illustrated by Mura Kuroe with draft by Magica Quartet. The first volume will be published by Houbunsha and features the return of Kyouko and Mami from the anime as well as new cast members.
Although the first volume was initially intended to be released on April 12, 2011, the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami, as well as the subsequent postponement of the last two episodes of the anime has caused Oriko Magica be postponed to a currently unknown date.
Plot
Promotional material indicates the story will be set prior to the events of the anime, revolving around the initial interactions between Kyouko and Mami, along with a new Magical Girl named Oriko. Homura and Madoka will also be guest starring.
