* After seeing her father hanging, Kyoko lost her 'Rosso Phantasma' ability. She might feel herself as Mami's burden so she decided to break up with Mami.
* In this story, Sayaka saves Mami from her fate by making her contract. She then makes combination with Mami.
** Homura tells Mami that since she already formed a combination with Sayaka, she should not induce Madoka to contract. However, Mami thinks her intention is to invite Madoka to her and Kyoko's party so she refuses such idea.

Puella Magi Madoka Magica: The Different Story (魔法少女まどか☆マギカ ~The different story~) is a three-volume manga spin-off for the Madoka Magica Movie created by Hanokage. The first volume was released on October 12th, 2012, while the other two will be released on October 19th and November 12th.

The first volume begins as an adaptation of Drama CD 3, though in culminates in an alternate timeline with a different outcome from the timelines shown in the anime.
