Hanokage (ハノカゲ) is an illustrator for Madoka Magica's manga.
Manga
Hanokage has illustrated the following manga:
- The manga adaption of Puella Magi Madoka Magica.
- A remastered version of the official manga adaptation, closer to the final anime.
- The spin-off Puella Magi Madoka Magica: The Different Story
- The manga adaption of Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie: Rebellion.
- The spin-off/manga interquel Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Wraith Arc.
- Several oneshots from Manga Time Kirara Magica.

- The end card for the anime's first episode.
- The anime guidebook's after-recording report.
- The Magical Girls Mito Aino, Leila Ibuki, and Seika Kumi from the mobile game Magia Record, along with their Memoria art, as well as their combined unit.
- A comic in the Madoka Magica Anthology Vol. 1 titled "Addictive Box", in which Homura invents a simulation game to figure out a route to save Madoka. Kyoko decides she wants to play as well, to save Sayaka. A sample is available online by clicking on the orange box on the lower right hand of this page.

Trivia
- Hanokage had their first and only book signing and manga workshop events in 42th international Istanbul book fair, in 13 and 14 december 2025 respectively. They attended alongside a translator and the editor for the manga Riko Nakagomi.
- Book signing event also had stamps for each Holy quintet member and Nagisa Momoe
- While signing up to the manga workshop event, attenders could submit up to 5 artworks of their own. 10 artworks by artists under 14 and another 10 by artists over 14 were chosen by Hanokage and given criticism
- The brushes they use while drawing manga are Japan G-pen for lineart and Heavy painted Brush for painting in Clipstudio paint
- They were reached out to draw the Manga after being noticed for their fanarts online. Since they also drew the ending card for the first episode of the anime, it may be assumed that the manga was in works before the anime aired.
- Their biggest inspiration besides Puella Magi series were Higurashi Naku Koro ni.
- Their hobbies include gardening and making desserts.
