What's our policy on doujinshi by official authors, actually? I know we have an article on RKGKMDK, Aoki Ume's unofficial book, which also includes a few pages from said book... 5/16, if I understand what's written in the article correctly. I'm asking because there's an uncropped version of this file in 50点の表紙にサルベージしたカラー絵を使ってみたコピー本プラス which is available on Booth... So that'd be 1/5 pages (unless the Riz & Eliza illustration from that one is relevant too?). I don't think we have any other decent reference on Torte's design. This is just a personal opinion, but I think it's reasonable to include anything that's not clearly "off-model" or "out-of-character" (which excludes most of GAN's art that was recently removed from pages). I don't mind also including things that don't satisfy those conditions as long as they are not overly offensive (which I didn't think most of GAN's removed art was, but Masugitsune's removed Pernelle image was a bit). I think it does make sense to note when things are not entirely official though. ~ Celtic Minstrel (talk) 01:02, 24 November 2024 (UTC)
I removed those images because I viewed them as overly suggestive or NSFW. I'm pretty indiscriminate about my judgement on that subject, though, so feel free to re-add images I removed if you feel like they are okay. They should be in Special:UnusedFiles. They were definitely suggestive (or at least most of them were). They were also mostly out-of-character and/or off-model, so I'm not really contesting their removal. I am a little dubious that an NSFW label applies to them, though, and even if it does it's at the level where it's barely touching the line between safe and not safe. Still, I don't think they're really any better than fanart. Sure, they were drawn by the original artist, but they don't reveal anything new about the characters, and they can't be used as a reference to study the characters – as said, they're either out-of-character or off-model. Thus, I won't be putting them back… but I probably wouldn't contest it if someone else did. ~ Celtic Minstrel (talk) 05:26, 24 November 2024 (UTC)
That's not the problem. The problem is that the doujinshi costs money (100 yen on Booth), unlike the Twitter version, which is free. EPF (talk) 08:32, 24 November 2024 (UTC)
