At Kosho Academy, Seira meets Mikura and Temari in the Historical Research Club and asks if they are reading something, to which Temari says they do. Seira explains that Mikura in engrossed in history while Temari is in literary arts and admits that their club it’s just really a “hodgepodge get together” for the three of them as magical girls that just made their contracts with Kyubey. Seira sits down to watch a movie with her headphones while Temari reads Cervantes’s collected plays, but then both start to watch Seira while she watches her movie and talks about the camera shots and angles. Seira eventually notices and asks the reason. Mikura and Temari say she started to talk to herself, thus Seira apologizes. The two girls say she shouldn’t apologize and ask about the movie, to which Seira says it was one of the first works of a famous director overseas and she likes the “mise-en-scène” despite being a low budget production. The three see the movie together, and both Mikura and Temari liked it thanks to Seira’s observations. Seira recommends some of his movies and Temari asks if he is her favorite director, but Seira says he isn’t but is her top 10 and she admits being a little jealous of him. Mikura then asks why Seira didn’t wish for a “genius film sense” the day they met, and all contracted with Kyubey. Seira remembers that day, which was recently. She just got to her town returning from Kosho Academy in Kamihama City, an in her way home she met Mikura and Temari, who she recognized also attend Kosho Academy despite also being from that town nearby, as Mikura alredy made her contract. Seira then sees Kyubey and thinks that he might be some sort of alien, then Kyubey presents himself and ask Seira for a contract in exchange for a wish. She accepts immediately but Mikura and Temari say she should at least listen to him explain the condition of being a magical girl, which Seira listens to. Kyubey asks if Seira wants to be a director, as that’s her dream, but says that isn’t her wish and says she wants to guarantee it and needs money for that, which surprises Mikura and Temari. Then Seira says her wish is more complex and says it is “I want to always have enough funding to film my movies in the future”. Back in the present both ask why she made that wish and she says she will explain it to them. In her third year of high school, Seira and her class received a questionnaire about professions, and when her teacher asked Seira about this she told him about her interest in being a film director, so her interest was to enter a university or faculty focused on the directing arts, to which her professor encouraged her to continue with her dream because several former students from the design area graduated to enter education related to films, which is why Seira became interested in this department. However, Seira's teacher is worried about the reaction of her mother and father, specifically her father, because he remembered that she had told him that he wanted her to pursue a high-level professional career that would give her a lot of money and a job. stable life. Seira says she remembers, but her teacher is worried about her father's reaction because Kosho Academy does not have that type of preparation classes for specialties, but Seira is sure that her parents will be understanding with her. That night, after dinner, Seira shows her parents the questionnaires she filled out and asks them to sign, but when Seira explains that she is interested in the design department because several students who graduated from there have attended universities or colleges of film direction and her dream of studying in one of these. Seira's father says he is not very convinced because he does not believe that the Kosho Academy can teach her or offer Seira a specialized education that would give her a high degree of preparation and he refuses because he believes that studying film design and direction are “the most subjective industries” to study. Seira says that he is right, so she plans to show her father what her dream is about, and she will make a movie to prove it, while her mother seems concerned about her husband's decision. her. The next day Seira asks her classmates for help to make a short film and they all agree because they had already done something like that during the summer holidays. However, Seira says that she wants to have the short film within 10 days. to convince her father that being a director is what she wants to do. Everyone agrees and one of her colleagues proposes bringing together more colleagues, such as the members of the Theater Club. Seira's colleagues ask her what her short film will be about, and she says that she is interested in making a film about Kaijus and that this was her generation that introduced her to films. Seira tells how the first movie she saw as a child was a Kaijus movie directed by Joey Yamada, to which one of her classmates finds it surprising because the last movie she made was of a different genre. One of Seira's classmates says she has not heard of Yamada Joey before. Seira's colleagues search and realize that he is a director who has retired a few decades ago, but his films have very positive evaluations and reviews, and Seira says that probably only people who know about classic cults and that it is an It's a shame that many don't know him. Seira's classmates say they can probably play the humans, but she worries about the monster part and wonders if they should get a costume, but Seira assures them that the film will focus on the humans' perspective. Seira and her colleagues make the films, and they end up delighted with how the found footage style ended up being, as if it were from security cameras, so her colleagues complement her for having studied a lot to make that type of filming style, all of them. They want to go to dinner and celebrate, but since Seira can't, they decide to postpone it until the movie is finished. Seira then proceeds to edit the film to add special effects and integrate the movie monster into her home, and after several hours Seira begins to feel satisfied with her work, thinking that, even though she is an old woman, she would like to continue filming movies, which makes her happy. gives Seira hope that her father will like what she has done and will finally approve of her decision to study to be a director. Before Seira can show her father her film, he insists that he will not sign her questionnaire and tells her that the reason he let her go to Kosho Academy in Kamihama City is because he wants her to get a high grade and pursue a stable career. Seira thanks him and explains that she went to Kosho to study things she wouldn't see in a regular school and to grant her dream, but Seira's father insists that she shouldn't dream because her dream is going to stop her. to kill a day Seira asks her father why she says such cruel things without giving him any explanation and he refuses to watch her movie and asks her “why do you want to make movies of everything?” Seira accepts and through tears says that she will go to her room to calm down. Seira goes to her room while Seira's mother tells her husband that at least he should watch the movie and that his words hurt his daughter. For her part, Seira, despite being sad, manages to cheer up and decides to go to a room in her house to look for boxes with old movies, but while she is thinking about her father's words “because you want to make movies about everything” a box falls out. When Seira puts her in her place, she realizes that they are figurines of "Sofubis", the kaijus from the Yamato Joey movies, and wonders what they are doing in her house. Seira cleans the figurines and then starts playing with them. Seira's mother knocks on the door and enters her room, surprised to see her happy, saying that she thought it was wrong. Seira says that for a moment she felt bad, and asks her mother about her figurines, because to her they seem very strange. Seira's mother tells her that Yamada Joey is not actually the director's real name, but that his real name is “Seiji Mihono”, who was her father's brother. Seira is surprised to discover that her uncle is Yamato Joey. Seira's mother also reveals that Seira's father used to be her uncle's cameraman. Seira remembers that her uncle committed suicide and realizes that explains Yamato Joey's strange disappearance and why he hasn't made new movies in many years. Seira's mother reveals that the reason for Seira uncle's suicide is that, despite his great success, he had to face several problems with film production issues; like handling a protagonist who ruined one of his films because of his attitude towards the rest of the cast and film makers or one of his films that never came out because it was too like a real-life natural disaster that had recently happened. Eventually Seira's uncle fell into depression and took his own life, when Seira was only 3 years old. This devastated her father and make him. Seira goes to talk to his father but is surprised to see that he is watching his film, but he begins to give him corrections on how he should improve his recording angles and edits. Seira's father asks her if she has ever heard of Yamada Joey, and she tells him that, although he is not alive, he is her favorite director. Seira's father tells her that her directing technique reminds him of Joey in every detail, and he believes that the two may have many similarities. Seira thanks her father, who asks if she already knows the truth, and that it hurts him a lot because even though Yamada Joey films were always acclaimed, his life did not end well. Seira and her mother reveal that she already knows everything because Seira found her uncle's figurines that Seira's father couldn't throw away. Seira's father asks Seira if, despite knowing what happened to his brother, she still wants to be a director, to which Seira says yes, because now that she knows who her uncle was, she wants to show others that he was a great director, just as she plans to be one herself. Seira says that she still has a lot to achieve because her father gave her a lot of corrections, but he says that he only went to the technical section and that the more she studies, the more she will improve. Seira is surprised and realizes that her father has let her study directing, although he asks her not to repeat her brother's tragic end, to which Seira agrees. Seira ends her story. Mikura says that she understands now Seira's wish, to which she says she wants to have her own director sense, but she will need the funding and luck. Temari thinks that maybe it was her destiny to meet Kyubey. Seira says she still thinks Kyubey might be some sort of strange alien, but she doesn't want to think hard about it since she could have her wish granted and meet her two senpais and then make their Historical Research Club. Temari says it could be the only club that fits Seira's filming interests but Mikura is still conflicted about that. Meanwhile, Seira is thankful for having such great senpais. |

Powers and Abilities
Seira's innate magic, called "Stage Production", has various effects that alter reality and perception according to Seira's vision to make the best movie she can. It is mainly used as some type of "light magic", making it possible for Seira to alter the lighting to change the apparent time of day, create "special effects" (illusions) of objects or events that don't really exist, or even generate background music.
Seira's "Stage Production" magic can also influence people's actions, as the actors in any movies that she directs, to become the characters they portray when she is filming. Her unique magic can also "block" or "fuse" with another magical girl's unique magic (or wish effects) as appropriate, so it can "help" to make Seira's movies to be "better" or "more accurate". For example, it negated the effects of Yukika's trouble-attracting wish. At one point it also combined with Temari's "Soul of language" magic and Mikura's "Relic Restoration" magic to restore the minds of the real life characters the actors played on her movie, and it made them follow Temari's script and act like those characters even to the point of influencing people that didn't read Temari's script and weren't originally part of the movie. Seira's "Stage Production" also seems to follow or act whatever its user desires, as it was used by Ruri Mizuna to set fire the records of her life as she wanted to "be forgotten".
Thanks to the effects of her wish, Seira can always find the best props for her movies, never lacking any money of her budget.
