Are we sure Connects were introduced in Rebellion? I thought it was a non-Connect connection, and that actual Connects were caused by Coordinators coordinating...? Was that just a popular theory or a real thing EPF (talk) 17:16, 17 September 2026 (UTC)

In Anireco Episode 20 its pretty much confirmed. Madoka asks what Connects are, but later Kyoko says "Connecting means combining our powers like how Mami syncs her magic with us?", implying Mami connects with them, just doesn't use the proper name (maybe she doesn't know it). This does kinda throw the whole -power Magical Girls didnt know they had before Coordination- thing into the trash, but maybe because Mami is a veteran she got it without a Coordination. Oh yeah and in episode 21 Sayaka says Tiro Duet as she connects with Mami. - TheresaFrog421 (talk) 17:22, 17 September 2026 (UTC)

Not really? To me it just implies that Connect is something any magical girl can do, in theory, but Coordination just makes it much easier to learn. Mami is a veteran, and one who puts a lot of work into analyzing her magic at that, so it seems reasonable for her to work it out on her own from experience. ~ Celtic Minstrel (talk) 20:14, 20 September 2026 (UTC)
