Wait, where is the "Theatre" part from? Ctrl+F'ing all story files yields me nothing on "Lighthouse Theatre", it's always just "Lighthouse"... EPF (talk) 18:04, 29 October 2025 (UTC)

Hm. The gallery sure has the full JP term in that one infographic. A quick check suggests they're most likely using just "Lighthouse" in Japanese in-game though, though I can't use my usual tool to check every story as it breaks at anything outside of Windows-1252 encoding. I could cook up a Python script, but ehhhhh. This EN pre-release material uses just Lighthouse I think? Anyhoo, the "Theatre" part is definitely outdated. Now, what should be this article's qualifier? We currently have lighthouse as the song, and I'm pretty sure MagiReco had some lighthouse(s?) relevant? Specifically in summer events and such. EPF (talk) 18:40, 29 October 2025 (UTC)

I finally installed Exedra, and I started going through Sensing Myself, I'm at Episode 0 right now... I saw that scene as a text-only transcript before, but because I'm playing the game fr now, there's audio, and I noticed that A-Q actually does say Toudai Gekijou, so the full name...! ...But only in the Japanese version? It's just Lighthouse in English... Also, all other instances of the word Lighthouse/Toudai being used in Sensing Myself, it's just Toudai, not Toudai Gekijou. In my defense, trying to look up Toudai Gekijou on the Exedra wiki doesn't show any articles. EPF (talk) 19:06, 30 September 2026 (UTC)

I did further research with my own CLI tool, and added every line in the game with Toudai Gekijou. There are only four, it seems, and most are MagiRepo... In other words, all instances of Toudai Gekijou being used are from 2026, so after the discussions took place EPF (talk) 19:14, 30 September 2026 (UTC)

While I do prefer Lighthouse Theatre, yeah this confirms that the Theatre part is japanese exclusive. I think this should be added into the Nihongo template at the top of the page, something like Lighthouse (灯台劇場, Toudai Gekijou, lit. Lighthouse Theatre), or maybe just a ", also called the Lighthouse Theatre^{[unofficial tl.]} (灯台劇場, Toudai Gekijou) in the japanese version of the game,".--TheresaFrog421 (talk) 19:25, 30 September 2026 (UTC)

I adjusted it now. And not only is it JP-exclusive, it's also relatively new, the first instance released in the game is literally in Sensing Myself, which was released for anni. It was just Toudai in-game for a year, so it looked like a retcon between the pre-release material and the actual game material until then. EPF (talk) 19:30, 30 September 2026 (UTC)
