Should this be moved to Magia Exedra/Gameplay/Upgrade Quests? - TheresaFrog421 (talk) 20:01, 1 June 2026 (UTC)

I'd say this should be taken to be more about the mechanic of Crystalis, rather than about the Upgrade Quests that allow you to obtain Crystalis – so, it could discuss how Crystalis is used to upgrade Kioku and stuff. I could maybe see an argument for moving it under the Magia Exedra/Gameplay prefix, but it really shouldn't be merged into the upgrade quests page. ~ Celtic Minstrel (talk) 03:50, 2 June 2026 (UTC)
I think all that info you described could just be moved into the Upgrade Quests page, like the current table and info about what the extra items do. I see it the same way I see Memory Window, where I don't really think it makes sense to be separate from Magia Exedra Main Quests wiki-wise. - TheresaFrog421 (talk) 21:16, 3 June 2026 (UTC)
I don't really get what you're saying. None of what I described has anything to do with the upgrade quests? And it has everything to do with Crystalis. I think the current table is good where it is – it would greatly clutter up the upgrade quests page (even the existing table on Upgrade Quests is a bit clutterish; that one's small, so maybe it's fine, but it even includes items already that have nothing to do with the upgrade quests, so it might just be better moved to a page solely about the actual mechanic of upgrading; or, at least, a Magia Exedra Items page). ~ Celtic Minstrel (talk) 00:58, 4 June 2026 (UTC)
I mean yeah... I just wanted as much info on that page as possible, so it doesn't just exist because I want the Echo enemy pages to have an appearance link. But right now yeah I'm more on your side where it should be separate. Right now I think we should move Crystalis into Magia Exedra/Gameplay/Crystalis, maybe create Magia Exedra/Gameplay/Kioku for the info about upgrading, and the Magia Exedra Items page like we have for Record. - TheresaFrog421 (talk) 09:56, 4 June 2026 (UTC)
Oh yeah also- you deleted the Name's Resolve Icons on Magia Exedra/Gameplay/Exedra Crisis because only one of them is used, but I don't think that's a good reason? I'm pretty sure you're right and that only the ATK up icon gets used right now, but that's because of what effects they choose for the season, and I think they will use the other icons in the future. I don't know what you meant by "and even then it's further processed" so maybe I'm just missing some context. - TheresaFrog421 (talk) 10:42, 4 June 2026 (UTC)
Those resolve icons are almost pure white on a transparent background (which is another reason why we can't just drop them into a gallery like that), but the actual resolve icons in the game have colour to them. So it'd be more accurate to say that the attack up icon is part of the resolve icon, at best. So that's what I mean by "further processed" – some sort of coloured outline is added to it. From the image names, it also sounds like the icons may be used elsewhere as well? Though I haven't really checked if that's actually true. ~ Celtic Minstrel (talk) 12:38, 4 June 2026 (UTC)
In this image the color is the background for the white Icons, so I think its still useful to keep them on that page, though yeah them being pure white is a problem... I know that putting "mode=nolines class=invert-light" in a gallery tag will work, but when the image is clicked its obviously still white on a transparent background. Also I doubt they're used anywhere else, mostly cause the little eyes on them look like Name, and Sweet Beanie uploaded them when Crisis came out (so if they are used anywhere else its after Crisis). - TheresaFrog421 (talk) 12:57, 4 June 2026 (UTC)
Do the coloured backgrounds exist as assets somewhere? I'd argue that they're a major part of the icons' identity, so personally I'd prefer to see 3x as many icons uploaded (precomposed with the background), although I guess it'd also be fine to compose them in a template with CSS (but in that case we can't just dump them in a gallery). ~ Celtic Minstrel (talk) 00:12, 5 June 2026 (UTC)
I'm guessing they're separate (though the icons we have on the wiki rn seem pretty weird? like their edges are very rough, so maybe they're not), imo it depends on if you want to display the Name's Resolves for each season in the table, because if we don't then I don't see a point in needing the backgrounds (apart from them actually being visible on light mode ig?). I'm still more so towards just displaying them with that gallery tag I mentioned. - TheresaFrog421 (talk) 01:59, 5 June 2026 (UTC)
Also the current tiny icons are way too small, the drop locks are fine but the paint drops and crystules just looks like colored dots. - TheresaFrog421 (talk) 02:01, 5 June 2026 (UTC)
Personally, I think they're pretty much fine even at such a small size. Maybe at most the paint drop is a bit small? But the main issue is there's no really robust way to fix it with pure CSS – those smaller icons just have a ton of blank space around the edge, so we'd need to crop that off to make them size properly as inline icons. But that could create a problem in and of itself – here it may be better to crop off the whitespace, but there may be other locations where it's better not to. ~ Celtic Minstrel (talk) 03:34, 5 June 2026 (UTC)
Maybe make the image a bit bigger BUT without making the text line inflate too? Kinda the same way we cut images with div's, just without anything being cut out. - TheresaFrog421 (talk) 13:41, 5 June 2026 (UTC)

Enduring Drop Lock

The current phrasing implies that, once one is used, the slot can never be changed again. Is that correct? ~ Celtic Minstrel (talk) 00:16, 5 June 2026 (UTC)
