Character Names?

I just wanted to check why only Liz and Elisa's units are named using their full names, while Melissa, Pernelle, and Isabeau are named using only their given names. It seems that characters who were released on the NA server are all displayed using only their given names. The reason why I put their full names is because that's how they are listed on the Magireco wiki, I guess it's wrong there then? (Riz's page, Elisa's page). The thing is, they do list Melissa as using only her given name, so the wiki isn't wrong on all of them. - TheresaFrog421 (talk) 15:28, 22 August 2026 (UTC)

You changed their JP names too, did you do that just to match the EN names? Cause idk where to look for the proper jp names (not trusting the magireco wiki anymore lol), but the cards still show their full names in JP. - TheresaFrog421 (talk) 16:34, 22 August 2026 (UTC)

I looked into a few sources, along with what I remember as a JP server player, and it seems that among characters with non-Japanese names on the JP server, only Alina and Ashley (as well as Livia) use their full names. The others (Tart Magica characters and Fate) are listed using only their given names, and the NA server simply carried over that convention. In Exedra's Archive, both the Japanese and English versions also retain the names used in Magia Record.

(As a side note, I noticed that when the game is set to English, the Memoria names in the Archive are given in English. Does this mean we should replace the Memoria names with the ones used in the Archive...?) --Hilbert88 (talk) 16:50, 22 August 2026 (UTC)

About the Memoria, yeah I think its better to change them, I remember a long time ago now, when I was making the unit template for Record EPF mentioned this but I think we just forgot and it wasnt picked up after.
