Sorana Nagiboshi

- She's the ??? girl: https://exedra.wiki/wiki/Portraits_of_the_Past_and_Promise/Story/English#Episode_3 . Her name was found in some kinda Live2D list, but I have no idea how the Live2D list was found. EPF (talk) 08:15, 15 April 2026 (UTC)

- Yeah, imo it's best if we wait til it's official. We've seen at least 3 characters that had different Live2D and actual names in MagiReco - Chika (青葉 知花 - her given name used kanji instead of hiragana), Ashley (her surname was Moran instead of Taylor), and Mannenzakura no Uwasa (Kanon Aira), plus the darkness versions of Mitama and Kanagi had a different alt qualifier. Her name likely *will* be Sorana, but things might still change, plus it's datamined info. EPF (talk) 15:57, 15 April 2026 (UTC)
Ids
Speaking of the cool list you made since I see it brought to attention (beautifully done, by the way), as a fellow list making lover, are the IDs of unreleased characters similarly datamined or just based on Magia records IDs? I know the names of the kioku's are probably based on the characters magia attacks (i don't actually know how to add the signature so I'll just copy what I see above) MaidenOfHope1702 (talk) 18:54, 15 April 2026 (UTC)
- The correct way to add the signature is with ~~~~, or click the signature image (seems to be the third from the left) on the toolbar. I tried adding the timestamp to your comment for you; not 100% sure I got it right. ~ Celtic Minstrel (talk) 02:07, 16 April 2026 (UTC)

- Its similar to the one i made there, but this user seems to have more knowledge on the ingame files and who goes where, which I dont have the info for. Thats why im asking if the ids they use here are from datamining or just speculative MaidenOfHope1702 (talk) 02:21, 19 April 2026 (UTC)

- Oh lol, it's you, I didn't notice. Some stuff seems to differ, too. Your list has doppel Iroha under 1008 01 02, this one has her under 1008 05 01? I assume the unreleased units' names are probably just their MagiReco magias, and everything else is in MagiReco order, flattened down for empty IDs. EPF (talk) 06:52, 19 April 2026 (UTC)
- Spot on, EPF. You're right that this list is primarily based on current patterns, using characters from Magia Record to fill the ID gaps in Magia Exedra (these entries are marked with italics in the list). However, the ID slots in Exedra don't perfectly correspond to the previous game, so most of them are indeed speculative. Currently, the only unreleased characters/NPCs with confirmed IDs are Namae, A-Q, Nighthawk, and Bebe.
- Regarding the ID for Doppel Iroha, it seems the developers moved her Kioku from 1008 01 02 to 1008 05 01 after they started differentiating the models and voice lines between her normal and Doppel forms. (The voice lines were briefly located at 1008 03, but they seem to have been removed). This can be cross-referenced with the voice upload logs on the Exedra Wiki and the edit history for Doppel Iroha on this wiki. (Perhaps TheresaFrog421 might have more insight on this). I changed her ID on her page because when Doppel Iroha got her model change, Sweet Beanie (the person who always uploads files when Exedra updates) uploaded the Kioku art for Doppelroha again, with that ID being its new name, so I took it as confirmation that they changed the ID aswell. Makes sense since the only kioku that share the first 6 digits always have the same voice lines/costumes, and Doppelroha did at first, but doesnt now. - TheresaFrog421 (talk) 18:35, 19 April 2026 (UTC)

Mami
Why is this how I learn we're getting another Mami unit. And its one that doesn't even make sense in the slightest. I'm glad we're getting another Doppel unit, as I actually kinda like them, but I'm not glad we're getting another Mami unit... Like why even Mami??? I know Holy Mami uses her doppel in the story but does normal Mami EVER use it in the story??? Also there are way better contestants for Doppel units, like Alina, Yachiyo, Nemu and Touka??? And if they wanted a "Mami in Magia Record" unit so bad, Holy Mami exists!!!!! - This is just a wild guess, but I bet they plan to make doppel units of all the main Madoka Magica and Magia Record characters, eventually. So, I think there's a high chance that all those you just mentioned will also get a doppel unit. - I always thought we'd get her Rebellion version first as a story antagonist, so I never expected them to pull a Doppel version out of nowhere... But honestly, they could probably still milk Holy Mami for all she's worth. I mean, the current version we have (Tiro Finale Liberation) is based on her Magia from the anime. They could totally drop the original version (Tiro Finale Holy Night) for Christmas, then her Doppel (Florence) later on, and maybe even her second-tier Magia from the anime version (Tiro Finale Salvezza). - As much as I want them to give a lot of characters Doppel kioku just so Mami doesn't get THAT much special treatment (and cause I just like them), I also don't T_T. I already fully believe we will get Walpurgisnacht Rising units for every Holy Quintet girl, so ANOTHER set for them is just... As much as I like Exedra for its art and new content (can't say gameplay cause I don't play it ^^), this is annoying as hell. The only real way I can forgive this, is if the event she comes with is centered around Candeloro (Like a recreation of the Mami route in portable), Candeloro is a Score Attack boss with Du Polignac being the basic enemies, her Doppel outfit is as good as Kyoko's and that this means Mabayu will get a doppel unit in the future and it will be revealed that she is infact the origin of Itzli. - Gameplay is pretty generic, so you're not missing much on that front. It's also pretty unbalanced, though that's to be expected of a pay-to-win game – if you picked up the game from launch and played a little each day, like me, you could maybe just barely make it through most of the content eventually. But if not, then you're going to be locked out for a pretty long time. Of course, all of that is assuming you don't pay. All the hardest challenge content is almost impossible for non-paid players unless they've been at it for a really long time. But in short, I'd never recommend the game to anyone.
