Okay so I have no idea what I've done anymore. I tried to add linking (so that both the text and icon link to the same thing), but I've broken some things ;-;. Here are the problems I know:
The Icon doesnt stick to the text, I think this is something I broke T-T- The text link separates into 2 parts???
Also putting text next to it will fuse it into the link somehow???? for ex: Uwasa of the Anonymous AIhi
Please help T-T. - TheresaFrog421 (talk) 16:48, 21 June 2026 (UTC)
- I'm trying to fix stuff and the whole fusing letters into links is just normal to every link????????????? I mean look: Madomado. It only works with lowercase letters, so maybe its mediawiki thinking the two parts are one word? Still why '-'. - TheresaFrog421 (talk) 21:03, 21 June 2026 (UTC)
- Also fixed the wrapping, I used   as a space, but that acted like a proper symbol, which just fused the first two words instead of fusing the icon and the first word, its replaced with <nowiki> </nowiki> now. - TheresaFrog421 (talk) 21:15, 21 June 2026 (UTC)
- I tried fixing the issue you mentioned. Please try it again and let me know if there are any other problems. - Hilbert88 (talk) 06:26, 22 June 2026 (UTC)
Note that the text is supposed to split after the first word if it happens to be at the end of a line. I'm not sure if that's what you're referring to here, though. But, it might be necessary to link the first word and then separately link the rest. ~ Celtic Minstrel (talk) 06:27, 22 June 2026 (UTC)The text link separates into 2 parts???
- I don't think this change fixes the original issue... If you hover over the example, you'll see that the linked text is still split into two parts: "Enduring" and "Drop Lock". - Hilbert88 (talk) 09:29, 22 June 2026 (UTC)
- At this point I don't think there's a way to fix it T-T. Well its not THAT bad in my opinion, I just still wish it would be fused. - TheresaFrog421 (talk) 11:51, 22 June 2026 (UTC)
- Yeah, I'm not aware of a way to fix that while still making the icon stick to the first word and allowing the text to wrap after the first word. If someone finds a way, do let me know. If it was HTML instead of wikitext, you could put the link around the entire icon+text construct, but it seems like that causes a bunch of problems in wikitext. ~ Celtic Minstrel (talk) 19:19, 22 June 2026 (UTC)
