Witches

Illustration Description
Witches Artwork 01.jpg CLARA DOLLS (Clara dolls)

The Children of the False City. Their role is to be mourners. These dress-up dolls perform a play of tears in order to liven up the funeral procession. The dolls present are Arrogance, Gloominess, Liar, Coldheartedness, Selfishness, Bad-mouth, Slow-witted, Jealousy, Laziness, Show-off, Cowardice, Foolishness, Resentment, and Stubbornness, while the last one, Love, has yet to arrive. "Born from color, not in the sky, the edge of this mortal world is our stage.” Their power is no less than that of a magical girl.

In order: Arrogance, Gloominess, Liar, Coldheartedness, Selfishness, Bad-mouth, Slow-witted, Jealousy, Laziness, Show-off, Cowardice, Foolishness, Resentment, Stubbornness, and Love (a poster). Collectively called the Clara dolls.

Witches Artwork 03.jpg LOTTE (Lotte)

The Nutcracker Witch's minions. Their duty is to carry out punishment. They are the tin army who perform the funeral procession of the witch being taken to the guillotine. They detest fools and convict them. Their heavy heads are serious and inflexible, so they do not listen to the witch's words. Apart from the human-sized ones, there are Brocken-class ones. They hate white mice.

Witches Artwork 04.jpg LUISELOTTE (Luiselotte)

The Nutcracker Witch's minions. Their duty is to exterminate mice. They are a cavalry of decaying teeth that hunt down the white mice. They also assist the tin army by removing any scoundrels who obstruct the progress of the funeral procession.

Witches Artwork 12.jpg LILIA (Lilia)

The Nutcracker Witch's minions. Their role is to chew. These nutcracker dolls, in the shape of teeth, crush any unwanted foreign objects in place of the witch, who can no longer crack nuts. They can fire walnut cannons from their mouths. Their enamel is reputedly as hard as level 10, and that’s no exaggeration.

Witches Artwork 05.jpg LIESE (Liese)

The Nutcracker Witch's minions. Their role is to bring ill tidings. They are kigurumi birds that announce the start of the witch’s funeral procession. It seems they’re fed by the children of the false town, so they follow some of their commands, though their intelligence is about on par with a bird’s. They fly in flocks, but due to their costumes, their visibility is poor, and they tend to crash into any moving object. In addition to their usual size, there are also gigantic Brocken-types.

Witches Artwork 06.jpg HOMULILLY (Homulilly)

The Nutcracker Witch. Her nature is self-sufficiency. Her once valiant figure that crushed countless nuts has now fallen to ruin. This witch, who holds no other value, ultimately wishes for her own execution. However, merely beheading her cannot erase her sins. This foolish witch will endlessly repeat the funeral procession to her execution in this mortal world.

New homulilly.jpg HOMULILLY (Homulilly)

The Nutcracker Witch. Her nature is self-sufficiency. Her teeth have crumbled, her skull has melted, and her eyeballs have fallen out. In her head, which can no longer crack nuts, only a pitiful promise remains planted. Yet, even within this broken shell, the witch still retains the vivid remnants of her former magical girl form. Her minions call this form a "Failure" and feel ashamed of her.

1386993198872.jpg OKTAVIA (Oktavia)

The Mermaid Witch. Once dreamt of love. This witch was separated once again as an individual from the Law of Cycles. Unlike the Witch of Sweets, she can act separately in both her human form and witch form. As long as there is water, this witch can appear from anywhere.

Witches Artwork 07.jpg OKTAVIA (Oktavia)

The mermaid witch. Once dreamt of love. The Law of Cycles split off some of its souls and sent them to the earth. One of them took the form of sweets. Another took on the form of a mermaid. And furthermore, even the Law of Cycles itself descended upon the earth, as reverently as the gentle dripping of nighttime dew. That form was almost like a girl who once existed.

Witches Artwork 08.jpg ANTHONY (Anthony)

Minions of the Rose Garden Witch (rental version). Their role is landscaping. Among the witch’s minions, they are quite obedient and large in number, so they were sent by the Rose Garden Witch as the main force to rescue Homura. As they are under the direct command of the Mermaid Witch, the influence of her magic has slightly changed their appearances. The medals on their chests are a treasured gift from the Rose Garden Witch.

Witches Artwork 09.jpg CHARLOTTE (Charlotte)

The Witch of Sweets. Once dreamt of tenacity. A mysterious creature who suddenly appeared in Mami's home. She is named "Bebe", but she is actually the Witch of Sweets who arrived from the Law of Cycles. She was very quiet and expressionless when she was first encountered, but somehow turned into her current state. She’s a bit noisy. Mami made her new clothes by hand. Tomoe Mami resembles the person from the last frightening dream this witch saw.

Witches Artwork 10.jpg PYOTR & POLINA (Pyotr & Polina)

The fleeing Witch of Sweets and her minions. Their roles are to search for cheese and to nurse the cheese. When rescuing Homura, the nurse-like minions helped with Mami's trapezes, while the mouse-like minions generally ran circles around Nagisa's position.
