Puella Magi Madoka Magica Online is a multi-player browser-based freemium game based on Puella Magi Madoka Magica settings. The service is set to open in Spring 2012 in Japan. Access to the site is regionally-restricted. Screenshots current as of December 21, 2011 are available in the gallery.

from the one where Madoka became an extra-dimensional entity.
There, five magical girls still fought against the witches.
They still try to defeat every witch and familiar of this world,
as well as Walpurgisnacht.

Your will, and the determination of the five magical girls

in order to fulfill the wishes of all time.
In this time axis' world, will Mami be saved?

Gameplay style
Not much is revealed at this point. According to Strategy Partners' announcement the game will centered around the anime story. The player is allowed to create a new magical girl and team up with 5 anime characters as a party or join up with other players. There will also be quests centered around past and future magical girls. The game will be free-to-play with item store. There will also be an event where all players participate in defeating Walpurgis Night.
