While the vast number of Witches created for Magia Record originated in the game, a small number of Witches were designed exclusively for the anime. Below are character pages for these Witches as posted on the official Shaft twitter account.
This page covers minor Witches and Doppels that appear in the Magia Record game and anime.

A Witch that drifted in from a foreign region.
By absorbing human corpses into herself, she can reincarnate them as her minions.
This gentle-hearted Witch sets out to find and absorb corpses not to expand her sphere of influence, but simply as a means of resurrecting them. However, she’s not great at discerning whether her targets are alive or already dead.
There are countless minions jostling for space beneath the runway in her Labyrinth; in this Witch’s former place of residence, she was never short on material to reincarnate.

Trivia
Before Ikumi Makino was released as a playable character, she appeared in Chapter 9 with a different doppel, which was unnamed.
* The hanamichi (花道, meaning "flower path") is an extra stage section used in Japanese kabuki theater. Today, it is used in a broader sense, i.e. to refer to the stage set up across the audience in a variety of venues, such as a fashion show, music concert, or professional wrestling venue. It's also used figuratively to refer to someone's spectacular career, often referring to its conclusion.
* Mapycя's Witch name is presented with a backward R as it is a Ukrainian and Russian (more rarely; in Russian tradition name 'Maria' have other variations as 'Manya', 'Masha', instead of Ukrainian variants as 'Marichka' and 'Marusia') feminine name spelt as 'Маруся' (pronounced as 'Marusia' in Ukrainian and 'Marusya' in russian-like style). The name is one of the derivations of the feminine name 'Maria'.
** In Ukrainian literature characters that named as Marusia very popular. In general, the name appears in various songs, and the predominant fate of Marusia in such songs is tragic.
** Marusia Churai (1625–1653) was a semi-legendary Ukrainian folk singer and poet of the Khmelnychchyna period, who, according to legend, lived in Poltava.  She is credited with the authorship of a number of well-known songs: «Ой не ходи, Грицю», «Котилися вози з гори», «Засвистали козаченьки»  and so on. 'Marusia Churai" is the famous novel by Lina Kostenko. In this novel Marusia dies of illness and unrequited love for Grits, whom she allegedly poisoned for which she was almost sentenced to death.
** In novel "Marusia" by Hryhorii Kvitka-Osnovianenko (this novel is the first novel that was written by modern Ukrainian language), where Marusia is the main character. The Marusia's fate is very tragically: when her beloved Vasyl goes to work in the city, Marusya dies of an illness, as a result of which he soon dies of grief.
** Marusia Bohuslavka was a legendary heroine who lived in Ukraine in the 16th or 17th century. She is primarily known from many Ukrainian epic ballads (dumas), usually referred to as Duma about Marusya Bohuslavka, and other Ukrainian folklore. Her nickname 'Bohuslavka' refers to her origin, the city of Bohuslav.
**Like Roxolana, she was taken in yasyr (enslave) and married to the sultan. She makes her way to the prison tower where the Cossacks were captured and releases them from captivity. She wanted them to return to their native Ukraine, because she could not return, although she longs for Ukraine.
**This name likely comes from the Ukrainian (in fact, Alexander Afanasyev, famous Russian folklorist, in the notes to his collection of fairy tales, did not indicate the region where this tale was recorded from, but the vocabulary and themes indicate that the original version of the tale has roots in Carpathian Ukraine) fairy tale The Fiend. In it, a young woman named Marusia meets a kind man, they fall in love with each other and she agrees to marry him. Marusia is told to learn more about the man's life and where he lives, and follows him to a church to find him eating a corpse. When he later asks if she saw him at the church, she denies having done so, to which he tells her that her father will die the next day. He repeatedly asks her if she witnessed his cannibalism, and every time she denies it he causes one of her family members dead, until he proclaims Marusia herself will die. Marusia seeks advice from her grandmother, who explains a way Marusia can come back to life, but at the cost of never being able to set foot in a church again. Upon resurrecting, she meets another kind man whom she marries, but who is bothered that she does not attend church. When he forces her to enter one, the first man discovers she is still alive and kills her new husband and son. Finally, with the help of her grandmother, she uses holy water and the "water of life" to resurrect them and kill the fiend (the first man).
*The Witch's head is in the center of a retractable lotus root. Her Witch's Kiss also resembles this, and a lotus flower is featured on the top of her Grief Seed.
* 'Kranke' is the German word for a sick/ill person, specifically women. In Japan, due to historical reasons, it is still customary to use some German terms (instead of English) in the medical field, including kranke.
*The Witch and her Familiars look very similar to each other, having identical legs and similar cloth-wrapped upper bodies and heads. Additionally, other Familiars, instances of the Witch, or mere decoration that look identical to the Witch proper hang from the trees in her Labyrinth.

*The word 'Anima' is originally a Latin word with multiple meanings, such as life, mind, spirit, wind, and the vital principle. The word is the etymological origin of several well-known words, e.g. 'animal' and 'animation.'

* The Witch's name being "Slave of Anima" likely means that the Witch encountered in the anime is a Familiar that has succeeded the original Witch after it died or was defeated, or the Familiar became independent and broke away from its master.
Trivia
*The word "karoshi" (過労死) is written throughout her Labyrinth. Translating literally as "overwork death", karoshi refers to sudden occupation-induced death due to extreme physical and mental exhaustion, commonly heart attacks and strokes, or being compelled to suicide.
*Martina's name may come from:

**The titular protagonist of the german movie, Martina.

Trivia
A doppel that first appeared in Magia Record Episode 23 but was later added to the game in the event Valentine Message ~The Memories are Pale Black~.
* 'Ichizo' is derived from Kenji Miyazawa's novel The Nighthawk Star. See also Speculah:Kenji Miyazawa and Magia Record.
* In-universe, her form is inspired by a plush nightjar toy that Kuroe owns.
* Her labyrinth takes the form of an endless expanse of night sky, where she pursues a bright star that remains forever in the distance. The star is either meant to represent a freedom from the responsibility of being a Magical Girl, or the Magical Girl ideal (embodied by Iroha), either of which she always chased but could never achieve.
** Further, she either keeps her eyes closed or lacks them entirely, so it is questionable whether she is even able to see the star's light at all.
*** Ironically, Ichizo's Doppel form has eyes.
* The chained white protrusions from her wings are likely calamuses/calami, the hollow shaft of feathers. Their bareness and being chained up, in addition to stemming from bases made of mud, emphasize her inability to progress forward, let alone reach her destination.
** She similarly lacks hands on her body's arms.
* The inside of her mouth resembles the eye/mouth of Box Wood.

|english_desc = Alina Eve (Alias)
The form Alina Gray took after allowing her Doppel of Fever to devour her, while simultaneously taking over Embryo Eve's body via its infection. Even in this state, she's able to instantly spread the Doppel of Fever to about several dozen thousand people, thereby transforming them into artificial Magical Girls.
Artificial Magical Girls become able to use magic regardless of age or gender, but much like the original Magical Girls, they must purify themselves with Grief Seeds to avoid being taken over by the Doppel of Fever and turning into Witches.
At a glance, it may seem like they're being forced to bear the fate of Magical Girls without even a wish as collateral, but according to Alina, "humanity's prosperity itself is the collateral," "being granted magic-- a power that's completely independent of physical ability or social standing-- is also collateral," "in the first place this is Art so there doesn't even really need to be collateral," and "free-of-charge magic distribution is GOD".
Originally, Touka and Nemu were intending to complete their concept of the Doppel System by making Embryo Eve absorb the two of them, in addition to Walpurgisnacht.

Trivia
* On the Shaft Twitter image, the fusion of Alina with Embryo Eve is nicknamed "Alina Eve". However, in the anime the fused Witch appeared with the Runic name "Neo Dorothy Motherfucker".
** This is likely a play on Alina's Witch's name "Old Dorothy" and her habit of cursing in English.
*The 'roots' on her lower body might be based on the coremata of the Creatonotos gangis moth.
*The reindeer legs are reminiscent of the Rumor of the Fur God, even though it does not appear in the anime.
* In the Magia Record game, Motherfucker is given the Void attribute, normally reserved for Coordinators and other magical girls whose wish takes the form of a curse. It was also one of the elements given to Walpurgisnacht during its boss levels.
** This follows clearly from the rationale behind her existence, since Alina became Motherfucker as an expression of her rage against the system, to curse humanity and bring them down to the magical girls' level.
* The Magia Record game lists her name as simply "Neo Dorothy." Whether this is because of software limitations, a retcon, or simply choosing or being forced not to use expletives is unclear.
