I removed the redirection code so that we can eventually move the Speculah page over here. Momoism 18:25, 26 April 2011 (UTC)

And one more thing: should this be "Walpurgis Night" or "Walpurgisnacht," as per the runes shown in Episode 11? Momoism 18:32, 26 April 2011 (UTC)
Wait, what do we do in the end? Keep Speculah:Walpurgis Night and just move it here? (there's an option for that, no need to copypaste the page). Cuz I see you already prepared a few sections, but they don't fit what's already existing on Speculah:Walpurgis Night. As for the name, out of habit I'd go with Walpurgis Night since it's how we informally called her, and that's what the card says ("ワルプルギスの夜"). Looks like even Shaft is indecisive on this one ... --Homerun-chan 18:47, 26 April 2011 (UTC)
The question is, do we format the page so that it matches the other character pages or the original speculah page? I think the best thing to do would be to sort out the speculah so that we have confirmed theories and observations under "Trivia," unconfirmed theories under "Speculation," and information links...under "Links." We could also put only official information and images on the character page, then keep everything else on the speculah page. Momoism 20:49, 26 April 2011 (UTC)
There were other solutions discussed, but now that's this page is started, I think it'd be good to merge all the other pages here. --KFYatek 20:59, 26 April 2011 (UTC)
So we're going with the "two pages" solution then? To sum it up (and make sure everybody's doing the same), this page contains all the info about the witch then, while Speculah:Walpurgis Night contains info about the real-life thing and everything that isn't directly Madoka-related. --Homerun-chan 21:02, 26 April 2011 (UTC)
I'll let the cleaning of the other page to you guys; I spent way too much time on this wiki today already. However, when I'll find the courage to do wiki management again, I propose we rename Speculah:Walpurgis Night into Walpurgis Night in real-life or something, that should be more explicit. --Homerun-chan 21:10, 26 April 2011 (UTC)

she symbolizes a fool. that explains why there were the words "Ein Narr" in homura´s house since "Ein Narr" means "a fool" --89.247.162.101 22:47, 26 April 2011 (UTC)
Homura's house also showed the word "Bühnentechnik" serval times, so shouldn't we call Walpurgisnacht "The witch of stagecraft" instead of "The witch of stage settings"? --TATZL 23:37, 26 April 2011 (UTC)
"Butaisouchi no majo" literally translates to "witch of stage setting(s)" or "set contruction," so it seems that "stagecraft" (while sounding much nicer) is more broad than the actual term used for the witch. Momoism 23:52, 26 April 2011 (UTC)

Speculations

We need to come to a consensus on where to draw the line between Walpurgis Night#Speculation and Speculah:Walpurgis Night. Prima 23:28, 26 April 2011 (UTC)

I personally think that speculah relating to Walpurgis the witch (e.g., where she came from, why she doesn't have a grief seed, why her familiars look like magical girls, and so on) should be in Walpurgis Night#Speculation, whereas speculah relating to Walpurgis Night's place in real history, Faust, myth, and art should be in Speculah:Walpurgis Night. (Homerun-chan's idea of renaming the original speculah page to "Walpurgis Night in Real Life" would help draw a better line.) That said, I'm not sure where the "Usage of the Term in Canon" section from the original page should go, since it's a) directly related to the anime but b) not necessary for our understanding of Walpurgis Night, the character. Gallery

Would it be possible to get some more screencaps of Walpurgis from Episodes 11 and 12? I can't get them myself, and I don't want to risk raising the ire of some anime blogger by taking his or her images. Momoism 23:55, 26 April 2011 (UTC)

About the minions

I know this should be just speculah, but compare the minion's card with the "family photo" at the end of episode 12. Considering the girl on the extreme left as #1:

Top left on the card is #14
Top middle is #12
Top right is #3
Bottom left is #1
Bottom middle is #14
Bottom right is #15

Whoever, note all of them are smaller than the originals (not quite chibi, though). Still, the resemblance is obvious. BrickBreak 00:21, 27 April 2011 (UTC)
