DVD Release
On September 30, 2011, Universum Anime announced on its official Facebook page that it had licensed Puella Magi Madoka Magica for release in Germany. The series was released with a German dub and Japanese audio with subtitles across three DVD volumes with four episodes per disc. Volume 1 was released on March 30, 2012 with Volumes 2 & 3 following in April and May. A Blu-ray release is currently not planned.
