This article outlines the official licensing of Puella Magi Madoka Magica in Brazil, summarizing the series' official distribution and the Portuguese-language manga releases published by Editora NewPOP.

Anime

In 2022, the Magia Record anime was released in Brazilian Portuguese, and made available for streaming on Crunchyroll. The Brazilian Portuguese dub was produced by Funimation (now Crunchyroll) and recorded in 2021. Despite this, the mobile game was never officially released in Brazil.

On May 6, 2025, Aniplex officially launched its Latin American social media accounts under the names Aniplex Latin America and Aniplex Brazil. Brazilian Portuguese and Latin American Spanish dubs for the franchise are currently in development, however, a release date has not yet been announced, and it is currently unknown whether the previous voice actors will reprise their roles for the original Puella Magi Madoka Magica anime.

Voice actors for the Brazilian Portuguese Magia Record dub include:

  • Mayara Stefane as Iroha Tamaki
  • Carol Sodré as Yachiyo Nanami
  • Carla Martelli as Tsuruno Yui
