Nemu Hiiragi reflects on her goals. She only wanted to save Magical Girls from a cruel destiny. But ultimately, she ended up hurting the person she wanted to save most. Her sins may have been forgotten, but they must be atoned for.

The Wings of the Magius face a problem: Embryo Eve, which was kept in Alina's Labyrinth has grown too large. They need to create a base using a Rumor. Everyone gives selfish suggestions—Alina wants a studio, Touka wants an astroparticle detector, and Mifuyu wants a bathhouse. Nemu criticizes them but cannot come up with an idea herself. She decides to write in her diary to find inspiration.

Nemu goes home to her family. Her mother and brother are there. They are happy and talk about their day. Her mother offers to make Nemu's favorite food. Nemu feels fortunate to be able to spend time with her family after being ill for so long. She senses a Witch and leaves to fight it. Her family understands and supports her.

Nemu fights the Witch with Touka, Alina, and Mifuyu. She helps a girl whose mother was in danger. The girl thanks her and calls Magical Girls awesome. Nemu feels good about saving others. She thinks about how much her life has changed since becoming a Magical Girl. She will continue to protect the world.

Nemu realizes her happy family life was a fantasy she wrote in her diary. Her real family is distant. Her mother rarely calls her by name, and her brother is practically a stranger. They are not malicious, but the rift between them is great. Nemu fights Witches to keep them safe anyway.

Nemu finishes the base and names it Hotel Fendt Hope. She remembers everyone arguing over the name. Mifuyu's suggestion was "Hope's Hearth," Touka suggested "The Hope Observatory," and Alina suggested "Studio Little Hope." They were all met with criticism. Nemu chose "Fendt Hope" because it carries multiple meanings. Mifuyu says it means something different for everyone depending on how they hear it.

Nemu reflects that the Magius are not a family but coworkers who share a dream. They will eventually go their separate ways. The hope they have found is fleeting. Happiness will always be out of reach as long as sacrifices are needed. But there are people who call her name, and that helps fill the rift. She will continue to do whatever she can as a teller of tales with her comrades.
