- It shares the same bell housing but this one does not seem to have a Core. I think the only promotional material that show it is the Wasu key visual (though in the show, the bell itself resembles the above screenshot) -- 0x99 (talk) 02:20, 16 September 2026 (UTC)

Nesting sections?
Shall we nest the section a bit? Right now it looks weird that Witch Era/etc. sits next to Soul Gem and powers, perhaps we should do:
- (h2)Power and Ability
- (h2)(some section name)
- Soul Gem
- Weapon
- (h2)(some section name)
- Ancient Era
- Witch Era
- Homo magica Era
I think this would help making the article a bit easier to scan through. Also, shall we nest Soul Gem/Weapon under each era? As far as I understand, Ancient Era uses different Gem/weapons, but then it's the only diff we know right now(?) so it might not worth nesting Soul Gem/Weapon... -- 0x99 (talk) 16:08, 18 September 2026 (UTC)
- If the Ancient Era uses different weapons, it could easily just be stated in that section (like "In the Ancient Era before Witches, Magical Girls smth smth"), but for Soul Gems its more tricky ig... It depends on how the Ancient Era Cores work, maybe we could just have a "Soul" h2 section, where it would include Soul Gems, the Cores and both of their Connection with the bodies. About the eras, I kinda wish they were h2 sections cause that just looks better, but yeah I think it would make sense for them to be nested... maybe under a "Mechanics" section? - TheresaFrog421 (talk) 16:17, 18 September 2026 (UTC)
Weapon WIP
I wrote up something for the Weapons section, but:
1) I dunno a good way to cite specific weapons in the first paragraph,
2) There's a bunch of stuff I can't quite be sure if I remember correctly, and that I dunno if I know the origin of,
3) Some of these things I'm not quite sure if they should be in the Weapons section,
4) The linebreaks feel lowkey awkward

- In paragraph 3, Lapine might also serve as a viable example? Not completely sure though. Regarding paragraph 5, this probably comes up in Green Jasper Diviners, but I don't recall the conclusion. Of course, it probably comes up in Tart Magica too. I think those are the only two places where normal people fight against witches. - I mean, Witches can also be hurt by normal stuff (Jun didn't even transform for that fight to prove her point that Mitsune doesn't need to be a Magical Girl to protect herself), it's just much more effective to use magic unless you're really unlucky and your weapon is kind of useless at dealing damage like Homura's shield... Magical Girls can summon weapons, both when they are transformed and when they are not[1]. The weapons vary greatly from Magical Girl to Magical Girl, and have included items common in other magical girl series, such as staves[verify 1], items that normally function as weapons, such as swords[2] or guns[verify 2], defensive items such as shields[verify 3], or even items that seemingly have nothing to do with combat, such as folding fans[verify 4] or harps[verify 5]. Certain Magical Girls have displayed the ability to adapt their own summonable weapons, such as Mami Tomoe who learnt how to make muskets out of her original weapon, ribbons[verify 6]. Some magical beings are capable of disabling a Magical Girl's ability to summon and use her weapon[3], and of changing her weapon to something else without requiring the Magical Girl's permission[verify 7] Magical Girls are capable of enhancing non-magical weapons, allowing themselves[verify 8], other Magical Girls[verify 9], and even people who aren't Magical Girls themselves[4]. A weapon must be magical in some way to be effective against other magical beings[verify 10], though some sufficiently strong manmade weapons have been shown to deal damage to Witches[verify 11].
