What are the chances that this is an early sign of Magia Record planning to shut down? Also, is there any indication yet of whether the new game would have a localized version made available? ~ Celtic Minstrel (talk) 14:48, 21 April 2024 (UTC)

As for MagiReco's canning... Hm. MadoMagi has had seven games so far, two of them (Portable and Battle Pentagram) were not long-term ones w/ constantly released content so they're irrelevant here. First there was Mobage in 2011-2012, then Online and Plus, which both ran 2012-2015 (Online was a browser game rather than a mobile game, though), then there was China-only Mobcast in 2016-2018 and now there's only MagiReco, 2017-?. There *have* been periods where more than one MadoMagi game ran before, though the only mobile-mobile pair was Mobcast/MagiReco, which differed by region and one clearly outlived the other by a long shot. I wouldn't say it's impossible, but also nothing is certain. I wouldn't think about EoS too much until it's actually announced.
As for Exedra's localization, well, no. We know nothing about this game outside of it being for mobile devices and a part of the MadoMagi multiverse. We don't know if it'll be a Holy Quintet/Sextet-only game like Mobage/Online/Plus/Mobcast, or a unique cast game like MagiReco. We don't know if it'll be another 2D visual novel-ish game, or a grand 3D Genshinlike, or something else completely. We don't know if it'll be a gacha or not (but tbh it probably is gonna be a gacha because what else can an anime mobile game be in 2024). We don't know its regions (though the fact the annoucement was only made in Japanese wouldn't give me much hope for day 1 multilingual support). We don't know if it'll be fully voiced or not. Nothing. Maybe we'll have some more facts after the countdown ends. EPF (talk) 16:34, 21 April 2024 (UTC)
Its full(er?) title is Magia Exedra and it's by f4 too lmao MagiReco is toast. EPF (talk) 00:09, 22 April 2024 (UTC)
Now that it's confirmed… what are the chances that the fan translator group manage to finish translating everything before it shuts down? Given that half of arc 2 still isn't done, nor the conclusion of Battle Museum, nor the scene 0 side stories… not to mention quite a few events and magical girl stories. In order to make the videos they've been making until now, they need the game to still be running, right? ~ Celtic Minstrel (talk) 01:24, 1 June 2024 (UTC)
They said they're planning on translating regardless of the shutdown, so there's that at least. Worst-case scenario all the dialogue will be recorded in text-only format, slightly-better scenario they could probably just release edited videos from the normal JP ver., and in the best-case scenario a private fan-server would be launched like this. Unknown Witch

I'm currently going through the trailer and adding the different labyrinths shown. I will continue tomorrow, but what witch is this? Amaterasu (talk) 23:29, 7 July 2024 (UTC)

I believe it is Zenobia, if you brighten the image, you can see buckets and shovels in the background! CafeAuBandage (talk) 00:35, 8 July 2024 (UTC)

Thank you! That would make sense because the next labyrinth also belongs to Zenobia. Amaterasu (talk) 13:45, 8 July 2024 (UTC)

Speculation of Witch Doors in Magia Day 2024

Some doors

I am not sure if this is the right place, but judging from the picture uploaded by someone regarding to Witch Doors seen in Magia Day, it depicts 3 unfamiliar doors. The one with the traffic sign could be Gisela's barrier, but the other two aren't actually new witches either. One of these depicts Ulla('s head) and we could finally have a chance to see Suleika for real since her teased existence more than a decade ago, but what interests me most is the door depicting a hat with cards and a skeleton arm. This could be Latria - the witch form of Kirika Kure.

However it would be exciting if new Witches do appear. RaviaVee (talk) 19:12, 29 August 2024 (UTC)
