Moka and Maria

I searched about Moka and Maria being part of Wings of Magius, but I didn't found any source saying they were part of Wings of Magius at all. The only thing I found was Hagumu saying that both her friends joined Kamihama Magia Union while she made her own faction. The only thing I found is that Alina once saved Moka from a witch, and like Karin she didn't think Alina was a bad person like everybody said. ~ Karminja

Hmm. There was at one point a reference to Maria being revealed as a member during Hagumu's side story, but I don't have a translation of that particular one, so I can't confirm or deny it. The reference was removed on November 18, 2021.

Both of them were added without explanation on March 20, 2021.

So, nothing I have seen confirms (or denies) any of the following:

• That Maria is Hagumu's friend
• That Moka is Haguku's friend
• That Maria was in WoM (at least one person thought Hagumu's MGS shows this, but I can't confirm)
• That Moka was in WoM

However, friendship between Hagumu and Maria or Moka seems slightly strange given how she's always seen together with Shigure. Where it says Hagumu's friends joined the union, does it say who those friends are? If they're not explicitly named I would be more inclined to take them as nameless Daito or Kosho girls rather than Maria and Moka. And where does it say that?

One way or another, if it is determined one or both of them were never in WoM, the category links on their pages also need to be removed, not just the reference in General Info. Otherwise, they'll still be listed in Category:Wings of the Magius members.

The only thing I found was Hagumu saying both Maria and Moka are her friends (they invited her to celebrate Hinamatsuri together) and that both are in Kamihama Magia Union in the "Fun Handmade Hinamatsuri" login event story (there it also appears Hagumu's mom). But she never said anything about them being past members of WoM, also I checked Maria's MSS and it also doesn't mention WoM at all. I'll search for Hagumu and Moka's MSS to see if I can find anything. Thanks by the correction.

Do you know where that login event (I guess it's this one?) fits within the main story? For example, is it during Arc 1, or post Arc 1? Maybe even during Arc 2?

Yachiyo's relatives

Where did you get information regarding Yachiyo's grandfather and parents? WizardFlower (talk) 14:50, 21 May 2023 (UTC)

Yachiyo's Grandfather was mentioned by her grandmother in Yachiyo and Mifuyu's Origin MSS. Yachiyo parents appear in Yachiyo Fairy Tale MSS, they are alive but live in another place, they come to visit her and met Mikazuki Villa members. Karminja (talk) 22:30, 21 May 2023 (UTC)

Death of Kanae

You keep quoting the fact that Kanae died three years ago, but I can't find a single story that would confirm it. Could you hint me where you found it? EPF (talk) 08:34, 25 June 2023 (UTC)

Kanae had the same age as Yachiyo and Mifuyu when they met, if I remember correctly it was mentioned in her japanese MSS, so if she was still alive she would be 19 years old, like Yachiyo and Mifuyu. The correct answer most be three years, by simple math of she had the same age as them (16) and in the present they have 19 years old, that means at least it has been 3 years of Kanae's death. Other points to know this is that Kanae never met Mitama or got an adjument. Mitama became a magical girl 2 years before the Main Story, so at least Kanae has been death for 3 years. Also in the Timeline of Magia Record that is on this wiki, it is said that Kanae died 4 years ago, but if we do maths and she met Jun and Mitsune then that wouldn't fit into their High School grade, it would be mentioned they are seniors but they aren't. Other proves to this is Momoko, because she said she has been a magical girl for three years but she never met Kanae, which means that Yachiyo and Mifuyu met Momoko no longer after Kanae died. I looked at Kanae's MSS and didn't see a mention of her age. Do you remember in what section or scene this was mentioned? As for the other points, Mitama contracted around a year ago, as the emergence of the Mirrors Witch coincided with her wish, as stated at the end of the Mirrors story. Breakpoint takes place one year before the main story and it details the Mirrors Witch becoming active, therefore Mitama's contract must be close to this date. As for Momoko, she met Yachiyo two years ago, shortly after contracting, as stated in the first part of Yachiyo's MSS. --Athree (talk) 06:46, 26 June 2023 (UTC)

To be fair, Yachiyo's MSS is an odd inconsistency as well, with Yachiyo only meeting Tsuruno for the first time after team KaMoRe already existed... which afaik is at odds with Main Story A1C6, but I can't verify it right now. And once again - that timeline was always an educated guess, not a 100% set in canon thing, especially with inconsistencies like Yachiyo's MSS, Swimsuit Amanes' MSS or whatever Kokoro's grade has going on. -EPF (talk) 15:55, 1 July 2023 (UTC)

You're right is pretty confusing many parts of the story and the MSSs. Sorry I got confused. This days I been re-reading many of the story making notes involving Yachiyo, Mifuyu and their team's members story, and I arrenged all those in a timeline so it makes sense. So I got to this:

- 7 years ago: Yachiyo and Mifuyu become magical girls, shown in Deliver to the Beyond, A Piece of Hope.

-3 years ago: Momoko becomes a magical girl (probably works alone for a year aprox.)

-2 years ago:

1.-Kanae becomes a magical girl.

2.-Yachiyo and Mifuyu met Kanae and Kanagi.

3.- Kanae joins Mikazuki Villa.

4.- Kanae meets Jun and Mitsune shown in Girls in Hood.

5.- Kanae dies.

6.- Yachiyo's grandmother dies. *

7.- Yachiyo and Mifuyu met Tasuke Satomi, who ask them for an interview.

8.- Yachiyo and Mifuyu met Momoko, who joins Mikazuki Villa.

-1 year ago:

1.- Rena and Kaede become magical girls.

2.- Momoko meets Rena and they become friends.

3.- Momoko and Rena meet Kaede, they become friends. Momoko helps Rena and Kaede to hunt witches but they aren't a team.

4.- Tsuruno becomes a magical girl.

5.- Yachiyo meets Rena, Kaede and Tsuruno. Tsuruno joins Mikazuki Villa.

6.- Mel becomes a magical girl and meets Kanagi.

7.- Mel meets Yachiyo and joins Mikazuki Villa.

8.- West and East tensions on Kamihama take place because of Winchester, the Mirror Witch, as shown in Breakpoint.

9.- Mel turns into a witch.

10.- Mikazuki Villa goes to an Amusment Park shortly after.

11.- Yachiyo dissolves Mikazuki Villa. Momoko makes a formal team with Rena and Kaede while Tsuruno remains alone while Mifuyu gets away from Yachiyo.

This is moreless what I got, although I'm not sure about Yachiyo's grandma pass away was 2 years prior or 1 year prior to the Main Story, as is never stated exactly when did she die (althought Kanae said she died no long after her death in her MSS) and I remember that Yachiyo told someone in her team (when Mel was alive) that she recently got the Mikazuki Villa after her grandma pass away, but I don't remember in what story she said it or if I'm misremembering. If you're okay with it I can update the Magia Record timeline in the wiki to prevent confusions like the one I got. Sayaka's Family

from where did you get Sayaka's parents? there's no confirmation who the people we see with Sayaka are in episode 3. The cousins relation was never mentioned either in the event. Her mother is mentioned in Scene 0 Side Story Film1.11 and her aunt plays a semi-major role in The Ribbon beach event. WizardFlower (talk) 23:46, 27 November 2023 (UTC)

Sayaka's parents I'm sure were mentioned in the Madoka Portable but I'll have too look into it, if I can't find them I'll leave just Sayaka's mom that was mentioned in Scene 0 as you said. In regards to Sayaka's aunt and her cousins, the three appear on he Ribbon beach event, the little twin girls that are shown in the story were mentioned to be her cousins (probably the daughters of her aunt). you're welcome!! I will help you look into it. Point is, they were pretty careful not to have Sayaka or Homura mention in any script their relatives but that seems to have broken since Magia Record.
