Category talk:Magical girls with Witches

This category doesn't seem to make sense. Most of the girls that have been added to the category don't have a witch form in either the game or any of the anime or manga. It seems like the category is more or less a duplicate of Category:Magia Record with Doppels. (A doppel may be similar to a witch but it is not the same; Ichizo is perhaps the most obvious example of this.) ~ Celtic Minstrel (talk) 22:24, 8 October 2023 (UTC)

The only defense I have for this page is that it is slightly more inclusive than Category:Magia Record with Doppels. For example, Lina Hitomi is not in Magia Record but has a Witch. I do, however, agree this page seems a bit unnecessary despite my reasoning. Amaterasu (talk) 23:23, 8 October 2023 (UTC)

Well, it seems unnecessary in its current form (and wasteful – if your goal is that a doppel counts as a witch, the category probably should've been put in the game info template, though that still feels pointless). Maybe it'd make sense if it only included the girls who actually have a witch form depicted, rather than a doppel. So Kuroe for example would be in both categories.

You didn't really need to add Category:Magia Record with Doppels since they're automatically added to that category just based on the fact that the game info notes they have a doppel... but I suppose it doesn't hurt. ~ Celtic Minstrel (talk) 16:29, 9 October 2023 (UTC)
