Summary
A Magical Girl dressed in her own art, based on the nature of mankind. In order to gather the energy needed for this form, she warms those with frozen hearts in exchange for years off their life. She also creates a death mask of her target, but that's just an unrelated artistic pursuit.
Doppel Description
The Doppel of fever. Its form is a piping bag.
The master of this emotion believes that the art it seeks and the art humanity desires subconsciously are one and the same, and she gathers energy to make that art reality. The joy of the realization that the universal theme of humanity is the manifestation of an individual's emotion is reflected in this Doppel's appearance. Not only does it experience euphoria, but its pathogenetic tempera paint also shines with brilliant hues. However, the pain it inflicts and the suffering it endures are one and the same. Its victims' death rattles like echoes accolades in its master's ears.

Alina sits in class distracted as the teacher tries to talk with her, but she's not paying attention. She asks him to repeat what he said, and irritated, he asks her again if she is going to submit anything to the next International High School Art Exhibit. The teacher tries to convince her to do it since she will gain a lot of exposure since her last exhibit was so popular. Alina refuses again, saying she's already famous and that it was the museum's idea to do the exhibit, not hers. Even then, Alina knows the teacher is more interested in making a name for himself through her work. Karin steps in and tells the teacher that nothing he says is going to work when Alina is in a bad mood, and so the teacher reminds Alina she's failing World History before leaving dejected. Irritated, Alina takes Karin's strawberry milk and drinks it down. She's still upset about the conversation they had had earlier: Alina was going over Karin's work giving constructive criticism, but Karin wasn't paying too much attention. Instead, she remarks on how Alina's mood has been better overall recently. Annoyed, Alina tries to leave the classroom but Karin pulls her back. She demands to know what is going on with Alina. Alina explains she has found the theme for her newest artwork and is raising the material needed. Karin thinks it sounds like animal husbandry, comparing it to raising the class gerbil. Alina gets upset, saying she makes her own art and this is nothing like that. However, Karin's words resonate in Alina's head and she realizes that she had little control over how they formed. Yes, she was breeding them but ultimately she contributed nothing to these works of art. Like Karin had said, it was more like raising a pet. Frustrated at how she can't come up with anything to contribute to her theme of "Alina's Beauty", she gives a few more bits of advice to Karin before leaving the school. Frustrated, Alina can't reconcile the idea of raising Witches and creating art with her own bare hands and senses. Even if raising something isn't the same as creating something, she still feels excited at the idea which only frustrates her more. Feeling she can't take anymore, she knocks over a trash can in an alley before becoming determined to uncover the meaning behind her theme. Alina heads back to the place where she was first inspired, only to find Karin waiting there for her. Karin was worried about Alina, especially since she was giving off the same vibes she did when she first jumped off the hospital roof. Alina reassures her that she isn't going to jump since she can't die anyway, then quickly changes the subject and explains to Karin what she's doing there. Karin tells her to not worry about everything so much and to read the latest volume of Phantom Thief Magical Kirin instead to feel better. Despite her doubts, Alina takes the manga home and reads through it. Despite the fact that each story is different, Alina can tell where each story will end up. As she ponders the simple manga, she realizes that the manga is aware of the core of its themes and maintains that in each separate volume of work. If she can find the core of her theme, then she could apply that to her work as a Witch breeder. It seems the manga was the cure she needed after all. The next day, Alina meets up with Karin and presents her a carton of strawberry milk as thank you. Karin takes the carton before asking if it was for her, but she's pleased nonetheless. Karin asks her what she thought of the manga, since Alina brought her milk to thank her. Alina is glad she read it if only to find out how repetitive it is. Karin begins rambling about the story, saying people enjoy it's formulaic approach. They always look forward to how the Phantom Thief will steal the exact thing needed to defeat the bad guys, since it's in her name. Alina compares herself to the manga, saying both of them are repetitive, but they can get away with it because at their core is an element that entertains the audience. All of Alina's artwork focuses on the transitory moment between life and death. Even if that's not the core of her theme, the fact that she's an artist gives deeper meaning to the act of "raising the class gerbil". At the Wings of Magius, Alina discusses the Mami situation with Touka and Nemu. They all agree that combining a magical girl with a Rumor was a good idea, even if she isn't entirely stabilized just yet. However, for what Alina needs her for, which is mainly leading the other magical girls, this works out just fine. Nemu and Touka note that Alina had been irritable the past few days, but Alina assures them that she has worked out her problem. Nemu seems relieved, especially since she was worried that Alina would take her anger out on the Wings of Magius. Nemus isn't interested in hearing about it, but Touka knows that Alina isn't the kind to worry about something and pesters Alina until she tells them everything. As they think about the core of Alina's work, Touka realizes that while she can explain the physical process behind emotions she can't explain why we feel particular emotions in the first place. Touka figures this is a problem that doesn't have a clear cut answer. Nemu chimes in and suggests that Alina view it from the angle of a collective unconsciousness. The majority of people enjoy the same things in much the same way, using the sun as an example. Many ancient cultures worshipped the sun despite the fact they had no contact with each other. Alina wonders if fascination as a concept is shared unconsciously by humans. Touka comes up with the perfect way to describe Alina and her art: a death drive, a self-destructive urge. The core of Alina's artwork would then be a craving towards death. Back at home, Alina tries to reconcile the idea of a death drive in her artwork and the fascination that the world at large has with her art. As she tries to think, she suddenly remembers that she's failing history class in school and sighs. She settles down and flips through her history book. As she's flipping the pages, she notices something and heads back to the Wings of Magius. She finds Touka and Nemu there and asks if they know anything about humans heading toward destruction. Nemu reminds Alina that this isn't their field of specialty, but ventures to say that war is a self-destructive vehicle. If you take away borders and nationality, it is people that most often kill people. Touka agrees, finding it to be a uniquely human trait. While other animals may kill other animals that are of the same species, it's rare for an adult to kill another adult of the same species the way humans do. Also, only humans kill other humans for something besides mating rights or to feed themselves. Alina urges them for more answers, getting more and more worked up at the thought that the answers to her conundrum were about ready to burst out of her. Mifuyu appears and tells Alina she's not going to watch her throw another tantrum. She tells Alina that she saw her studio was completely trashed and asked if it wasn't Alina that tore and threw canvases and paint all over the place. Mifuyu tells her to pick up her mess since it isn't good for the environment either. This sparks an idea in Touka and she tells Alina that this is the perfect example of self-destruction. Nemu explains that it isn't just war that humans use as a means of self-destruction, but the way we are destroying our planet and environment as well. Alina thinks this is the perfect answer, while Mifuyu is just confused about the conversation. Back at the art club at school, Karin is scared and a little disturbed at what Alina had brought: piles of faux fur as well as a dear head with fur attached. She tells the teacher she changed her mind and will be participating in the art exhibit thanks to the inspiration she found in her little experiment. She's hoping the results will finally confirm what it is that people see in her art. At school Alina continues working on her art piece, cutting up the various bits of fur she brought. She tells Karin to focus on her own manga after Karin comments on what a good mood she seems to be in. But Karin isn't drawing her manga; instead, she's drawing Alina since she doesn't believe she'll ever see her in such a good mood again. Alina takes Karin's strawberry milk as payment for being her model much to Karin's chagrin. The teacher brings in a used mannequin like Alina had asked for, but Alina wants a second one. The teacher informs her there aren't anymore and she'll have to either buy one herself or make do with this one. Alina recalls asking Mifuyu if she can make a mold of her body to make into a mannequin in exchange for cleaning up her art studio but Mifuyu had refused. At the museum's cafeteria, Alina sets up a solitary female mannequin draped in faux fur with a plaque that reads "The right to participate is provided by a meal". Various visitors to the museum are excited to hear that Alina is exhibiting a new untitled art piece. Alina is excited to see how many people have come to view her art as this will provide her with plenty of feedback. She's surprised to find that Touka and Nemu have decided to stop by and see the art piece as well. While Nemu enjoyed the way it was set up, wherein you had to eat at the art gallery's cafeteria before viewing the art piece, Touka couldn't understand what the purpose of the faux fur was. Alina tells Touka not to worry since the real meaning behind her art hasn't come out yet. As Alina tries to sleep at home, she gets a call from Karin telling her she needs to hurry back to the museum. There's a horrendous stench emanating from the stage where her art piece is set up. As Alina realizes what's happened, she begins to giggle and declares her art piece finished. The entire bottom of the stage was filled with the garbage from the meals that patrons had eaten in the cafeteria. It was only until a week later that the garbage had begun to rot after accumulating so much. Alina titles her piece "Humanity's Implicit Reward". Alina tells the musuem director and her teacher that this art is to be interpreted by everyone on their own, leaving no commentary on the piece from herself. She then asks Karin to take her photo alongside her artwork. Alina ponders the core of her theme, in which humanity's unconscious drive towards their own death is what was fueling her art. That this is what drove people to be fascinated by her art. But Alina wonders if humanity is merely fascinated at the process of death or if it's actively driving towards it. People are strangled by their own greed and in their urge to take part in Alina's work all they have done is trash it. Alina figures that humanity has coveted its own destruction since the moment of their birth. Even war wasn't enough and now they seek to destroy their own planet. She sees Eve not as a piece of art, but the paintbrush with which she will paint a perfect utopia for humanity. As Alina laughs to herself, Karin asks if she's okay. Alina tells her she's in an incredible mood now that she's found the core to her theme: Alina will change the world for the good of humanity. Karin tells her she sounds like a cartoon supervillain, which only prompts Alina to growl and take her strawberry milk. Back at the Wings of Magius, Alina asks Nemu to create a rumor for her so she can help those who are suffering and unable to fulfill their desires. She tells Nemu she will allow the rumor to run wild for a bit in order to grow before she puts the rumor on herself and becomes one with the rumor. Then she will use the rumor to accomplish her greatest goal. |

Trivia
- She is event limited and must be rolled in the gacha.
- Much like Holy Mami, her personal Memoria is also a reference to Bikkuriman.
- A shinigami is a god of death, similar to the western Grim Reaper.
- The star she wields as a weapon is a tetrahedron, which represents the human body, heaven, and earth in sacred geometry and is a shape found in Metatron's Cube.
- Holy Alina is the second variant character to have a different set of attack discs than their original counterpart.
- Whereas Holy Mami may refer to more traditional Christmas imagery (by invoking a 'holy mother' image), Holy Alina may be based off the pagan roots of Christmas, as seen in her transformation sequence.
