Mifuyu Azusa reflects on her life. She wanted to break free from a Magical Girl's fate and live as her own woman. That longing tore her apart from someone very dear to her. But now that Yachiyo is back by her side and she is surrounded by friends, she will cherish what she has.

Mifuyu dreams of her time in the Wings of the Magius. Touka helps her move out of her house and arranges a scholarship. Tsukuyo and Tsukasa help with cooking and cleaning. Mifuyu acts as a mediator for Touka, Nemu, and Alina. She is conflicted about their methods but stays because the Wings offer a way to break free from becoming a Witch.

Mifuyu remembers her Soul Gem turning pitch black. She prepared herself to become a Witch. Touka appeared and revealed a Doppel—a way to circumvent becoming a Witch. Touka invited Mifuyu to join the Wings and free Magical Girls. Mifuyu saw a chance to live a normal life again.

She remembers an arranged marriage interview her parents set up. Mel's fortune encouraged her to go. The person was very nice, and Mifuyu realized she still dreamed of an ordinary future. That desire made her join the Wings.

Mifuyu remembers Mikazuki Villa. Life as a Magical Girl was tough, but the place was always full of smiling faces. Mel was killed by a Witch. Mel's Soul Gem blackened and became a Witch. Mifuyu realized all Magical Girls are fated to become Witches.

She remembers meeting Kanae Yukino by coincidence. Kanae joined their team. Kanae later gave her life to save them, and her Soul Gem shattered. Mifuyu learned that a Soul Gem contains the essence of a Magical Girl. She never wanted to experience the sadness of losing friends again. She vowed to protect Yachiyo no matter what.

Mifuyu remembers first meeting Yachiyo. She was crying and scared during a Witch fight. Yachiyo fought without shedding a tear. They reunited by chance. Yachiyo's grandmother invited Mifuyu to Mikazuki Villa. Mifuyu and Yachiyo became partners. Mikazuki Villa became an irreplaceable place for Mifuyu.

Mifuyu remembers her childhood. Her mother was strict and never accepted her. Mifuyu dreamed of being free. She wished for "the power to see dreams freely." But her dreams became empty as everyone kind to her disappeared from them. She was left alone.

Mifuyu recalls a recent event. She tried to unleash a great power to prove her worth to the Wings of the Magius. Her Soul Gem shattered, and she was prepared to die. Iroha saved her. Mifuyu recovered and reflected on her past. She realizes she made many mistakes and will have to atone. But she hopes that one day, she will be absolved and able to see new dreams—dreams where she is free, living out the future she desires with her eyes wide open in the real world.

Mifuyu returns to Mikazuki Villa. She announces she is back and has returned home.
