Background
Shaft 50 refers to a special anniversary event put on by Studio Shaft, the team behind Madoka Magica. This event is similar in concept and execution to Shaft 40, colloquially known as Madogatari.
Scheduling
The first known exhibit hall for Shaft 50 opens December 27th, 2025 at Mixalive TOKYO and runs until the 6th of January, 2026. A second exhibition will run between January 8th and 18th, 2026.[1] This will be the last event hosted in this venue, as they announced a closure for the end of the run of the event.[2]
