Stage Play: Magia Record Puella Magi Madoka Magica Sidestory (舞台「マギアレコード 魔法少女まどか☆マギカ外伝」 Butai "Magia Rekoodo Mahou Shoujo Madoka ☆ Magika Gaiden) is a stage play based on the mobile game Magia Record. The stage play ran from August 24th, 2018 to September 9th, 2018, and later received an official BluRay and DVD recording on February 27th, 2019. Most of the actresses for Magical Girls were members of the idol group Keyakizaka46 (欅坂坂46). The stage play is a musical.
The stage play's story is based on Magia Record's Arc 1's first half, up to around Chapter 5, though some alterations were made, most notably the characters of Touka Satomi, Nemu Hiiragi and Alina Gray were omitted.
